What Type Of Diablo 3 Do You Want Or Wish It Was.

Hi i i wanted to make a poll for the last week people have been saying they wanted a offline mode some perfer the online mode. no matter the resesion why u want whatever style i want vote and tell us *please no blash at the other choice's just state why u want the perfered one of your choice*

*If this gets out of hand i do want a mod to close it i want to see what type people would want the most*
*Please be mature to each other about this*
*Also no game spoilers*
*Feel free to comment below but please be respectful this is a poll i am interested in seeing how it turns out*
Edit: i didn't put a offline only *without lan* cause i figured if there was a offline it would have lan play*

I prefer it exactly as it is. I like the online functionality. I like that my characters are available anywhere (I play from multiple locations). I like being able to talk to, and share with my friends both achievements and gear.

well what about if you could have all of that but on days where your internet may be down you got the offline mode to give u something to do *if you wanted to play d3 that day*

I quite like it the way it is. I like having the option of going solo mode if I want to. I personally always have an internet connection no matter where I am, so no problemo!

I like the online functionality as experiment, but if they were planning to include one they should also focus on it (more servers etc).

ya even if it was just to rent servers for the first month to work all the bugs out so people can still play without as many problems.

I would have preferred it to have offline mode with LAN, but the way it is right now isn't a horrible thing if Blizz can get their act together.

I just want to the old lobby system back.

It's fine the way it is. Darsithis posted what is also my exact thoughts on the matter.

And if I for some reason can't go online for any period of time, I still have D2 installed on both my laptop and and desktop. Every game has it's own time.

I wish the skill/attribute system was more like d2. Or in a middle ground. And I'ld like better itemization. And for love of god, proper voice actors

ya me personally i would like to have the offline mode but it is what it is. what blizzard should have done is rent some servers for a month to make sure some of the problems didn't happen or at lease not as much. i hope after today things are fixed *a bit*

There's nothing wrong with the voice actors, they're all stellar. It's the lines they've been fed that could use some work.

Due to the online mode been only there for the AH(please dont say it was to stop pirating, it more then likely increased it and blizzard knew that). Always online in a single player game is dumb, hardcore mode means nothing due to not lagging been one of the defining aspects of it. Also its a single player game, when online ill play by the rules, but if i want to mode it etc, i want to have the freedom to do so. Personally i think a pirated version is better if your only going to play single player.(not promoting it, im just saying its funny to have a better experience with a pirated game then a non-pirated one).

If any other company did this there would be up roar, and there has been in the past. Blizzard are immune, but shouldn`t be.

Lan is far from dated there is places *at lease here in the usa* that you can only get dileup so couple's/friends lan with each other for the co-op also MLG use's lan last time i checked.

I do enjoy the occasional LAN party, but to be honest I quite agree with you. It has been three years since I've last needed the LAN option in any game. It still has it's place and time, but it's a diminishing factor. And Blizzard has spent their money elsewhere. I can't blame them for that.

I would like blizzard to decide what kind of game Diablo 3 is.
- If it is a single player game, make it a proper single player game and give it offline mode (completely separate from the online mode, no possibility of transferring anything from one mode to another, or from online to offline only).
- If it is a multiplayer game, make it a proper multiplayer game, give us a lobby and an active game browser with filter options.
The way it is now feels... unfocused.

Bolded says it all really, d2 had so many cheats and hack mods which breaks the whole concept of the game.., which is why I suspect most would want the offline mode. 'admittedly some may have been affected by the server crashes when a million+ want to log in simultaneously, but is was to be expected unless your delusional'

The game as it is delivers on all front in my eyes, there's absolutely nothing I would want to change with the exception of one thing.., the ability to chose different paths in regards to quests going through the game, so there was a slight variety other then a character change.
