    faint ringing in my ears

    It is very noticable when
im in a quiet area i read
    its tinnitus or something but
    is it a serious condition?
What could of caused this to
happen? I never listen to my
    music loud and im rarely
    around loud things.
Is it easy to cure? Would a
    white noise machine help?

Go to a doctor. There are hundreds of reasons your ears could be ringing.

And off-topic, did you intentionally make your post look like some sort of cracked out poem?

Tinnitus, can be caused by many things. It should go by itself, if not see a doctor if it is still there in a few days.

Perhaps your brain is trying to escape from your head via the ear. The noise is its tiny drill.

I have it sometimes aswell, from times to times. Though I enjoy listening to loud music and I play the drums, death metal style. This could potentially be the cause of this but I'm not too concerned, it doesn't hurt and my hearing is perfect. If you are annoyed by it check it up =)
