How much gold for a good MOP start?

What do you think how much gold is needed for a good MOP start?
I have about 190k and would like to spend some.
My main is tailor/enchanter and I would like to lvl my profession asap, I also want to lvl JC, Inscr and alchemy.
With changes made to the enchanter mats it will be easier to lvl I think, but I was also said that we will have inflation,
So I really have no idea how much is needed.

There is no simple answer to your question. It will differ for each person. It all depends on what your goals are, do you want to have gold on hand to be able to buy the new epics when they drop, or do you want to level up your professions fast, if so those will cost you alot the first month that MoP is live. If you plan on using your gold to make more gold then that is another story in it self. I would say first you need to decide what your goals are for MoP then start planning around them. I know I'm taking 3million gold into MoP but I have some big goals lol.

Been playing since vanilla and I always go into every expansion with less than 5k gold across all my chars.

I hate farming, I only do it just enough to buy gems/enchants.

If there's something I really want, I will farm for it when I need it.

I do wish I had tons of gold so I never have to farm again but I don't ever want to farm to reach that point so I just farm as I play.

*edit* also dont care about vanity items. I just wanna kill shit and upgrade my char.

It depresses me knowing that there are some people on my server that I will never be able to out bid on that tiger mount, though I do want it. I spent all of wotlk farming it every lockout

Why don't you pick up the shuffle and start saving up your gold? Depending on how much gold I have and how much it's going for, I might just wait for a second posting as it might go for really expensive the first time up.

Ya the blackmarket AH will be a major gold sink in MoP, however do we know if it is only for that server or could it be cross server so that the prices could go even higher if other servers were to be able to bid on items as well?

Right now, to be fair, I'm dumping a lot of my gold into inks and cloth in preparation to make bags and the new glyphs, so whatever I start Mists with should jump dramatically aftera few weeks of the expansion.

Got about 12k for my monk, & other expenses. since I'm levelng my toons that have Herbalism/Alchemy & Skinning/Mining first I intend to cash in on the early market in those fields.

I'm at close to 2 million and I'm wondering if that will be enough. I have at least one of each profession and in a few cases (JC/Enchanter) I have more then one. I hate farming so I'll have to buy everything to raise skills. Then the damn black market AH was announced and I'll gold sink into that for sure. Ugh.

What are you people talking about? One MILLION gold? The fuck? I never have started any expansion with more than 400-500 gold. 1k is an achievement for me.

Hoping to hit 100k for the exp, but it is pretty much an arbitrary number. I just came back about six or so weeks ago after 6 months away and spent all my gold getting my toons up to date, but am slowly rebuilding the pile. I am at 19k now, so depending I guess on the release date 100k is not at all out of reach.

I have about 200k and if my guild is live until MoP (which i dont know since im on a break from wow atm) there will be a few thousands of gold
for me to collect there too. All in all i will chill with all the crafting etc until shortly after the release because everything will cost INSANELY much
due to everyone leveling new chars etc etc.

Not really sure how much I'll be sitting on at launch. Atm I have 3 different 1-525 profession kits stashed away that I will likely sell two of after the launch for 30k+ easily, even more if I decide to finish them out to 1-600.
