most developers that have games announced for later this year have already shown off something from the game.

Yea which is kinda strange cause haven't seen all that much about halo 4. I'd expect to have seen more by now. As for getting hyped I am and a few of my friends are. Has to be a few more people out there I think. More than enough to make it worth a display at E4.

Probably for the same reason no one is hyped for another Call of Duty game, rehashes are rehashes. Kinda hard for people to get hyped for something that is nothing more then a title though, most developers that have games announced for later this year have already shown off something from the game. Plus, with Borderlands 2 out in September and it has considerably more hype at this point, it's hard for anyone to get excited for another Halo game.
