Diablo 3 - The Ironman Challenge

I know someone made this for wow, i have no idea who, and i don't hope to be "famous" on it, i just like the idea of it being done in Diablo.

Is it better for you if i call it "The Don't Die Challenge"?

Did you miss the part where creating a Hardcore character pops up an "are you sure?" prompt? Because of that whole part about, I don't remember now, something like, if you die, it's over for you.

The guy wants an Inferno Diablo kill and you cant take a follower to fight Diablo.

I think he wants people to play the whole mode with those rules.

If you claim to know so much about Diablo III, why did you state you cannot use a follower for this challenge even though you cannot use a follower against diablo regardless?... This was a retarded thread. And literally impossible. LITERALLY.

I saw this idea for Ironman Challenge in WoW, it really blew up in popularity. Better make one up for Diablo 3 on the spot and hope to be credited!

Because WoW is a joke and everyone who finished it or was close to finishing was a Hunter with a pet that could solo everything for him. Theres no possible way this could ever be done. I dont even think you would beat Normal this way on Hardcore.

1) So you will have no more than 7-10k hp (1 shotted by the magic fireballs or lightning stuff)
2) No.
3) Follower gets trapped anyway so this is pointless.
4) Why? When the only damage you will be taking will insta kill you.

Unless you're referring to the fact that sometimes a follower isn't optional but forced, playing without a follower is very possible.

He said "kill diablo on inferno" You cannot kill diablo on inferno with a follower, so pointing this is like saying "Kill diablo in inferno while being level 60"
And anyway, this is just impossible. The only class that could ever do it would be a range class, and as soon you'd enter the dark thing realm you'd be oneshoted by your copy.
Also, I heard a barbarian killed him with some kind of crazy defensive stats and nearly zero dps (4k if I remember right). The fight lasted 40min, for some reason I bet they'll put an enrage timer

You also have gear. You would be one-shot in a second. This Ironman doesn't work for all the classes let alone one very well. It's a cute idea but there needs to be some reworking. I mean, only two skills at a time? That's pretty ... limited. Even Ironman WoW challenges lets them use their abilities or at least much more.

A better challenge would be this:

Kill Diablo on Inferno, Hardcore

You can only use the gear you find
You can only play through once (no farming for gear)
You must clear every map, no elites can be skipped
No remaking games to reroll elite mobs

Considering no one has beaten Inferno Diablo on hardcore yet (or is even close to doing so), it's pointless to propose anyone try to do it with any kind of restrictions on how to do it in place. And then, you not only propose that, but to then put restrictions in place that would make it impossible? Not difficult, not unlikely, not even improbable. Absolutely, mathematically, statistically, scientifically, IMPOSSIBLE. This is probably the worst idea ever conceived through conscious or unconscious thought by any organism that has ever existed.

I know there's enrage timers, there's enrage timers on regurlar elite packs as well. Also as i said earlier it'd be ok to be "boosted" since dodging everything is kinda difficult anyway.

btw, never say never.. u can't ever know if some chineese guy finds a way to do it
