3 Day Waiting Period to use Real Money Auction House?

I keep getting that message whenever I try to access it. I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. It says that people who have bought Diablo 3 digitally must wait 3 days before using the Real Money Auction House. I am pretty sure its been more than 3 days, and I still can't use it. Not to mention my friends who have a digital copy also don't seem to have this problem.

Would appreciate if someone could help me out here

I'm in the US, and I know we have the RMAH available for us here.

if its been more then 3 days then contact Blizzard. We can't change your account status.

I did, they just linked me to the general FAQ again which didn't help at all

    I had this problem.

Go to your security options for your authenticator on Battle.net and check the box to ask for your authenticator every time you log in. Why that messes with it, I have no clue, but that's what fixed it for me. (And others, as I had to search around a bit and finally found this solution.)

Just as another heads up with RMAH problems, if you connect a PayPal account to your Battle.net account, but it still asks for you to do so when attempting to sell anything, add SMS Authentication to your account.

Thanks for the help, buddy, I'll try that out when I get the chance!

Edit: That worked! Thank you very much, my friend

Can you access the RMAH without an authenticator?

The reason for the 3 days is to give the bank time to process the charge before the funds are sent to Blizzard to actually add them to your account.

No, as it states clearly in the RMAH FAQ.

It's possible that it uses the Authenticator as a proof that you are requesting the transaction and if it doesn't ask every time then it just has to wait until the next time that it does to flag the process. Not really sure, though
