Droid Razr or wait for iphone 5?

so i am eligible for an upgrade and i was wondering some stuff. Currently i have an Iphone 4 and its jailbroken so i can get a lot of unique features on it but the touchscreen is laggy alot and i was wondering if i should just get a droid razr for my next phone or wait for the iphone 5. Is the 4G worth it? Hows the touch screen?

    Waiting is always a mistake.
    Upgrade when you need to.

iPhone 4S is a better phone than a Razr in my opinion. If you're willing to consider the Nexus S, though...

The Nexus S, from Dec 2010?
I'm sorry, I disagree with everything you said. The 4S is a good phone, but it is not on par with the Motorola Razr. Nor is the Nexus S on par with either.

In my opinion, the Droid Razr shouldn't even be in the running... There are better Android phones available, take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S III, which should be releasing any day now in the US, or the HTC One X (if you're AT&T).

I myself am trying to decide if I should go with the S III or wait for the iPhone 5. My iPhone 4 is on its last leg, the home button only works if I push it in a certain spot, and only then about 1/3 of the time.

Not sure I would suggest the Nexus S, that is a generation (soon to be two) old.

Same here. Have to push the home button with a sledgehammer for it to work right away. I'll wait for the iphone 5. Waiting often isn't a mistake.

I'm still trying to decide. I've been using an iOS device since the iPhone 3G came out, so I'm pretty apprehensive about trying something new, but I'm not sure I wanna wait until September or October.

I'm also kinda interested in trying Android, AT&T used to offer a 30 day trial period, I wonder if they still do that...

Mobile phones are an extremely rapidly expanding industry. Now we have the boss-mode Galaxy s3, fall will bring the iPhone 5, with a 4.6 inch screen,(apparently apple made an order for those) and perhaps at the end of the year we will get maximum-battery Mirasol phones. Upgrading will always give you benefits. I would personally stay away from the 4s though, even if it's fast, it's the same form factor and the same 3.5 inch screen.

The Droid Razr is a fantastic phone, which hopefully will be getting ICS by the end of the month. Though a non removable battery is annoying, and it is no longer on par with other phones hardware wise.

Thought I recommend the HTC one X.
You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.

Consider this: The screen is a 720p super amoled display and it has a wolfson dac, on top of that it has the community support of voodoo drivers, which are fcking awesome. For example, you can use the internal D/A chip on your s3 as a Mother***cking amplifier. ( once voodoo's released)

Still using Nexus one, really see no need to upgrade, its still fast even running ICS on it.

    Does the razr have that?

I'd like to rescind my statement about the Razr I said before in response to Badpaladin, I was thinking of the newer one.

I would strongly recommend not getting a One X. Ever.

Waiting is always a mistake, unless something is three weeks away. Look at the GTX 600 series vs the HD7900-series. Waiting was a big mistake. Instead of having had a great GPU all the time, you waited for an equal GPU costing considerably more.

Why's that? From what I've seen, it is very close to the S III.
