    Aldoss of the Grey [BIO]

    Aldoss of the Grey

32 years old (22 when he died.)

    Forsaken (Grey Family)

Once a proud soldier of Kul Tiras, a marine society off the coast of the dwarven lands. Aldoss was dedicated to his people and kingdom. Having fought trolls, naga and orcs in the second war he was a seasoned veteran and renowned for his size and strength. He was large and was quick to battle. He had red hair and green eyes, he wore Alliance plate and carried with him a spear. The spear was sqaure at the end but tapered to a point so to stab his enemies. The word Aldoss meant "Great" or "Mighty" in the tongue of ancient man. His father gave him the name when he was very young and proved his affinity with blades. His mother always kept his old name, but called him such in private. "Dylan" a named usually associated with a common people, the masses he was now charged to protect.
At thirteen he joined the Kul Tiras navy and accompanied the soldiers on excursions against the Orcish Horde. The Second War would begin and he'd earn many stars fighting the orcs. He became a well learned warrior and always appreciated his unit. He would continue his success into the Third War where he and his company were sent to Lordaeron to help fight the growing Scourge threat.
Along with other kingdoms, Kul Tiras sent many soldiers to the northlands to contain the undead armies. Knowing that if they were take over Lordaeron, their smaller kingdoms would be easy pickings. During this time, Aldoss was a sergeant in the Kul Tiras royal marine and they fought with Gilnean soldiers and knights of the Silver Hand. After some major battles in what is today known as the Plaguelands, Aldoss and his fellow marines of nearly a hundred men began to diminish and take heavy losses. Eventually the fighting would focus toward the mountains where Aldoss would be surrounded by ghouls. Believing he could hold of the Scourge on his own he held the line with a handful of men near Strahnbrad in order to allow survivors to make it to safety. His soldiers began to fall one by one and Aldoss was left alone against the hordes of living rot. He was overwhelmed and eaten by the creatures.

Days later, Aldoss' corpse was raised by Scourge necromancers and he forced to fight in the name of the Lich King. Seeing promise in his size, the necromancers attempted to add dead tissue to his muscles and make him even larger. It somewhat succeeded and Aldoss stood nearly as tall as an abomination. He still retained the body of his former self, his hair now dark, skin a pale green, and missing jaw from an overzealous ghoul. Aldoss stoof at nearly seven feet tall and kept his spear which failed to deteriorate in the plague clouds that hovered overhead. He was granted new armor that resembled the Vryuk'l armor in Northrend. (Ebon Blade starting gear.)
Now a minion of Ner'zhul, Aldoss was a key instrument in Arthas's rampage of Lordaeron. He carved a vicious swathe through the remaining resistance and relished in his victory over his former kin.

Soon after the Scourge invasion, Aldoss became associated with another warrior named, "Cheveyos." A fledgling warrior, she followed him vigilantly as the Lich King commanded her. As they, and parts of the Scourge army began to get situated in Lordaeron, many of the Scourge were beginning to have thoughts of their own. With the Lich King's will weakening Aldoss and Cheveyos began to resist his thoughts. Soon, they and others began to break free.
A civil war began within the Scourge, the undead who remained loyal to the Lich King were attacking the rebel group known as "The Forsaken." A collection of free thinking Scourge warriors that followed the Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner. Aldoss and Cheveyos joined the group hoping to exact vengeance on the Lich King and Arthas.
Cheveyos began to fight like Aldoss, with fierceness and strength. Without regard to the self, but rather one's comrades. During the rebellion, Aldoss and Cheveyos became close friends and discussed their lives between battles. Aldoss discovered that Cheveyos was actually five different personalities and began to learn from each one. He also discovered that she was a part of the illustrious Grey Family. A collection of Lordaeron's warriors that had long inspired Aldoss.
After the war, Aldoss and Cheveyos attempted a mission in the name of the Greys. They would find any who have been risen and claim them for the Forsaken. In the following years Aldoss found many in the Plaguelands and inducted them into his new family, hoping to bring back the old elite. He would also be instrumental to the raising of Causis, the former head of the Grey Family.
Now, Aldoss, with his official induction by Causis is one of the strongest Grey warriors. His determination in life now serves him in death as he stands with his new kin against the mortal races that threaten their lands.
