Windows Thinks my pen is a Mouse

It works great, pressure sensitivity and all, only issue is it doesnt think it's a pen, and that's a problem for programs that look for pen-enabled devices before enabling pen-specific features. So basically, how do i make it realize it's a pen. Currently running windows 8 Consumer preview but this was also the case on 7 enterprise and basic.

Yes, i've reinstalled drivers, multiple times, it just finds a mouse and it's calling it a wacom mouse.

What programs would you want it to work with? Are the drivers the newest ones (the ones off the CD possibly aren't)?

It's problematic for about everything - it's a tablet PC and usually, i might want to press the virtual keyboard button when entering text, there's no such luck there, i have to go all the way to the one on the bottom, also, for example, you can enter equations with handwriting in mathematica, that just does not work, because there's supposedly no pen imput.
