Wanting to buy New computer

I've been wanting to buy a good gaming computer but I'm not sure where to start. I don't want a super expensive one, just something preferably in the $800-1000 range. Any recommendations or places to start searching and what to look for?

Scroll down a bit for the builds of the month. Dolphin appears to be in your price range, throw in a monitor and peripherals and you're at about 1000

Thanks for the link, I forgot to mention I'm Australian so I'm not sure if there would be much shipping cost and also I'm kind of nervous about buying all the individual parts as I don't have any experience putting them together.
