    Windows server 2008 novaBackup setup

    Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a my virtualbox windows 2008 server.
I need to install novaBackup on it, but that requires .NET framework 3.1 SP1 to be installed, and the installation requires an internet connection.
Now i can use the internet fine, but i can't access the internet from my virtualbox.
    The question is:

Does anyone know how to get the .NET 3.1 SP1 on my computer without having to download during the installation?
    or
Does anyone know how to get internet working on a virtualbox 2008 server?

    Thanks for the help.

    Are you using https://www.virtualbox.org/ ?

If so, internet connectivity should work out of the box, but in case it doesn't you can view the settings of your Virtual Win8 machine and change the network adapter to "Bridged adapter" which will then copy your normal network card instead of using NAT like it does without changing any settings.

Then again...if you're using some other software or talking about something else, then this will probably sound strange

Internet should indeed just work out of the box. Also, http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/ would be my first choice to run a virtual server.
