    [Music] Biggie or 2Pac?

The 2 men hailed as the greatest rappers to have ever lived. They ultimately led to each others demise. Tupac Shakur was known for his meaningful lyrics and deep meaning behind his songs. While the Notorious B.I.G had a flow, rhythm and style unmatched by any other rapper.

-Which one of them do you think is the greatest rapper of all time?

Who or whatevver that Biggie is, i voted for him. Is this the biggie smalls guy from that south park episode?

Biggie gets my vote. While I do like both, Biggies just had more enjoyable music to listen to.

I'd say they were both equal in their abilities, but if I had to pick, it would be 2pac, he just sounds better than biggie in my opinion.

    Aye, I prefer Biggies music.

As much as I admire Tupac, when it comes down to it I listen to music because it sounds good and I enjoy it, regardless of the meaning behind the songs.

    Where's Nas's name on this????????
    Illmatic > All

Also it's impossible to compare them as they both had different styles. For example pac's emotion and political views helped his career. However big had funny and complex / subliminal word play to get him to the top. BIG was MASIVE whilst he was alive, bigger than pac's majority black fan base. Big had songs in clubs and that appealed to everybody on a more wider scale, maybe it was just down to the marketing but big was a masive name even before he died. Tupacs lyrics where weak but had emotion and you could see that in his music so you can't really compare them.

How can you seriously say that? Listen to tupac's "Old School"

  13. #13
Neither. 2pac's lyrics were often very superficial and Biggie's flow wasn't unmatched in any sense of the word. Were they both influential? Absolutely. But they best? Not at all.

like em both, but pac is best imo

    biggie had the flow
tupac had the amazing touching lyrics

  18. #18
Ive listened to em both, don't particularly care for either. If I HAD to choose one, i'd say Tupac. Biggie's voice was annoying as hell to me...sounded like he constantly had a mouth full of marshmallows. Im not one for the "old school" artists much anyway, in any genre...except Warren G, regulators ftw.
