    HTC One X

After using my old mobile phone for 7 years, (since 2005) it was a Samsung E900 btw. I thought it was time for a new phone, a smart phone.
So I bought the HTC One X.

Tell me is it a good phone? Is it on par with Samsung SIII? Or comparable at least?

Since I have had no smartphone I am addicted to the thing, seriously....Facebook? Games? Music? SKYPE!? How far have they come with technology....

Anyways, do other people find it a good phone too? I am told by everybody that it is epic when I tell them what phone I have. Is this with good reason? I myself find it to be amazing.

EDIT: Also it does NOT have Gorilla Glass right? Just very resistant right?

Arguably wrong. Despite little tiny things that don't matter, the HTC One X is on par with the Samsung S3. The two of them are the best phones out on the market now.

    Just like that! :P

Anyways, I don't really feel the difference in the whole Beats thing. But otherwise everything is top notch.

Wife has the One X and has mixed reviews about it, she's coming from her iPhone 4 and absolutely loves Android, but her biggest bitch is about the keyboard. The phone is pretty damn big and if you're used to typing with 1 hand it's unwieldy. The screen is beautiful and the phone is pretty snappy, but if you're looking for a good camera on a phone I'd look elsewhere. Personally I love my 4S' camera and the image quality is head and shoulders above the One X, that being said the X can take an insane amount of photos in it's burst mode and then help you decide which is the best of the bunch (you can save all of them, or chose the one and discard the rest, it's pretty bitchin)

Off Topic: I'll be sticking with my iPhone for a bit longer, as I like some of the features coming out in iOS6

Yes maybe, but its still Samsung, mady with shitty plastic materials etc. HTC is a quality.

I am still finding out new options etc after using it for a day.
This phone has so much options.

Glad I took unlimited internet sub with it.

The Beats is just a software EQ thing. No hardware is needed to support Beats. Any phone can theoretically have Beats by Dre.

But to edit my last post. Since it says your location is in the Netherlands, the European S3 is definitely better than the HTC One X. Its the American one that is on par with the HTC One X. With that being said though, the HTC One X is a great phone.

Considering I came from a Samsung E900, this is like changing from a wet candle to full house lighting.

Huh.....I wouldn't imagine it to even be possible that quality is different per county/continent.

HTC One X is very much on par with the S3.

ive got One X, dad has S3, both edge each other in different areas but when avareged out make them almost identical, HTC processor is a little faster if i remember correctly, like 0.1 or 0.2 ghz, but they both seem equally as responsive. Camera is excellent, screen is probably the best currently out there on par with S3 id say despite being different screen technology, (fuck this retina display bullshit on iphone, doesnt equate to much on a 3 inch screen) really great for watching movies and great multitasking also. This phone will definately last you 3 years untill you feel far enough behind on tech to get a new one

Haha very true, and to be honest I was going to trade in my 4s for the X until I head about iOS6 (pretty excited for the "ignore a call and send a text response button")

Well the European S3 uses a Quad Core Exynos Processor while the US version only has a dual core processor. The Quad Core Exynos Processor makes it faster than even the most powerful tablets out there now. But like I said, the HTC One X and S3 are the best phones out on the market. They both are relatively the same. Anyone would be more than happy with either one of them

Why would they do that?.... :O That doesn't make any sense....

It is lacking in areas, and I'd personally never go with an HTC-phone, any less a One X. HTC is living on pasts merits.

Quad core processors arent yet compatible with LTE, which is the 4G network for most of the carriers in the US. But we are used to it. In the US, the phone carrier seem to dictate what features the phones have and not the actual manufacturers. But honestly I dont care, I pre-ordered my S3 and can't wait for it to come.

There must always be one. :P Not that I disrespect your opinion but I just find it funny there is always 1 person out there that disagrees with others. :P But that should not surprise me tbh.
