It's not like they're redesigning the entire thing for MoP, just changing a few stats on the same old items.

I'm not saying the release won't be when you say. I'm just saying you can't rely on friggin Brewfest gear as an indicator.
I think Blizzard has been rather predictable with their moves so far, but we'll see!

    But hey, I do love competition~! :P

    Finally! Some real excitement!

The world premiere of the World of Warcraft®: Mists of Pandaria™ opening cinematic can be a week before the release. So only thing this tells is that it won't come out before 21.8.2012.

Still, I'm optimistic for a mid-late September release.

As much as I'd love to have that happen, it's too late. Blizzard announces their release dates at least two months prior. And it's the 29th today.

They aren't sticking to their previous routines, so you can't really use 'they normally' do it like this kind of bs.

Still going to launch either the 28th of august or 4th of september.

Well that kills all the people saying it'll launch in July.

    Still saying September 4th.

About 10 mins ago the book Tides of War, was announced for late August.
Thinking this guarentess that September is the earliest month and not August?

Yeah, totally, because it's gonna be such a HUGE pain to go to the Blizzard YouTube page and stream the cinematic in full 1080p to watch on a widescreen.

"We’re also pleased to announce that this year we’ll be showcasing World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, Diablo® III, and StarCraft® II: Heart of the Swarm™! Don’t miss your chance to experience the games first-hand and to meet members of the development teams...."

Sounds to me like they're going to be showing a finished product Mists of Pandaria at Gamescon 2012 and not one still in development at that time.

Wow. That means no release until late August at best. Well, no need to rush my pre MoP preparation I guess.

Well they announced catas release date on October 4th and they released the opening cinematic on the 18th. I still think an early to mid October release is likely.

From a source inside blizzard (Rl Family member), they are aiming for a early September to late September release.

No one will believe this, But i know i have prepared my boss and told her i am take a week vacation in September

  18. #98
Release in October blizz i got 3 weeks off then

I dont mean to come off sounding confrontational or offensive, but I really think the people who are still predicting an august release are slightly delusional. While the traditional beta end dates and expansion release dates might seem to predict a late-mid august release date, I think that people are ignoring some other key signs that point to a september release date. First off, we dont know when the beta will end. While many people say it seems to be the most refined product of any expansion beta, that doesnt necessarily mean bliz thinks its close to ready. We are still getting into the raid testing, and after about a week or two we might start look at heroic testing, and then theres still a lot of quests and dailies and other things like gear, reputation rewards, etc. that have yet to be released. I think the beta will last for another 4 weeks, which would correlate to a late august release date based on the past few expansions. But then theres the other signs, like the cinematic and the new book, which is being released where we assumed mop would release, so im thinking that the expansion wont be released until early-mid september, my guess would be the 11th but i think bliz might have strong reservations from releasing it on that day.

Incorrect. 2 have been under 2 months while 1 over 2 months. All 3 of which just by a few days.
