Now i'm completelky torn between my Shadow and my possible Scion build :P I'll need to tinker a little with the tree.

Non ti fidar di me se il cuor ti manca.
Decided on going Coil instead of Kaom's, and after fixing up my resistances I had about 3ex in currency left over so I decided to try to 6 link my Marohi Erqi myself, as the rest of my gear is good enough for what I'm looking to do and I've never 6 linked anything before. So after spending 4-5ex in fuses with no luck I decide to check poe.trade and I see I could have bought one straight up for 5ex
Don't know why I didn't check poe.trade BEFORE I tried it myself but I was just assuming that they'd be up around 10ex. Woops.
I have a similar issue. It hasn't stopped and nothing I've read on the support forums or through various websites has helped. Most people blame it on a power supply issue but I upgrade my power supply from a 650B to a 850B and its still doing it =).
I've read it has something to do with the game engine and most of the issues are focused around AMD. I however have a Nvidia and still have the issue so I don't know if I believe it. Only game it does it with too is this game. Including playing a lot of other games on max settings.
It's just that the game-engine is kinda terrible. Some builds just make you lag no matter how good your rig is.
But apparently they're working on it. I remember reading some reddit-post about them hiring some game-engine specialist to work on the engine a while back. But it'll take quite a bit of time before you can start seeing any "major" improvements.
Non ti fidar di me se il cuor ti manca.
The sync-issues were more about their netcode rather than the game-engine, though.
But yeah, fixing the de-synch was a huge step forward... Many raging moments were had due the de-synch deaths back in the day :P
The engine-issues are not really noticeable until you play a really spammy build like CoC/Mjölner or try playing in a full party. And even a full party is sometimes fine as long as people don't play "flashy" builds.
Chris has somewhat teased that, now that they have money, they might switch to a mainstream engine or rewrite theirs. Wouldn't expect anything soon but worth checking back up on from time to time.
That would never happen. That would be the equivalent of building the game again, minus the production of art and sound assets (which would still require significant tweaks).
They already announced lots of upcoming improvements to the engine over the course of the next year, some of which we've already had like sound and loading improvements. The main advantage of having an in-house engine is that they know it inside and out, there weren't many improvements to the engine since release due to one of their main programmers leaving.
One of the major performance improvements they're working on is related to ground effects, which cause significant performance hiccups.
Also CoC spam is vile and should only be fixed by removing it from existence and history.
LOL!
That took me a second, then I laughed.
I still don't know if fishing is real or not in the game.
I swear that lockstep is nothing more than the /resync (I forget what the actual command was) function being spammed over and over again by the engine.
I still notice desync every time I fight Brutus. He'll throw his chain, I'll dodge (or get hit). 9/10 times the game continues fine. Other times I'll get pulled toward him but a microsecond later I'll teleport back to where I was; or I'll have dodged it on my screen and moved a step but a microsecond later I'm warped in front of him.
I'm not complaining. I both love lockstep, and I never complained about desync deaths either. I've been on the record in these forums saying that if I died to desync I blame myself for getting into that position.
I love the game, I love lockstep, I didn't care about desync... I'm just bringing up my anecdotal story about why I think lockstep is nothing more than the /oos function (I googled the name).
Maybe that's just performance lag or something on my computer and nothing to do with desync at all. I dunno.
I'm at an impasse with Path of Exile right now. I've been playing it since 2012 and I absolutely love the game. I have about 7500 hours played altogether. I really want to KEEP playing, but there's just no builds I feel like trying (that I haven't before) and there's no content in the game I haven't done at this point. Not to mention the current temp league is pretty uninteresting in my opinion, sad as it is to say.
PoE is fun to lvl thru merciless and do a few maps / lab. Grinding maps is terrible.
Eh, just do what I do and only play every other league or so... Though I've skipped more than 1 league every now and then, as well.
That's usually enough time for enough new stuff and changes to be implemented for the game to feel "fresh" again for a good 1-2 leagues or so. Always good fun to start a new league with skill that was just added and fiddling around trying to make it work
But yeah, I've played like 3000 hours myself and I love the game, even if it gets a bit stale every now and then.
Chris hinted at end-game changes with the next expansion/league, hopefully it will make the game feel fresh for a while. Currently just play what best can be described as casually because the league mechanics are horrible at end-game. And I achieved everything I could possibly want already (sitting on 3x 6L, 40+ Exalts and gear for another 70ex or so for sale) besides the last 25 map drop for 40/40. =/
I really enjoy the various modes for self progression in Marvel Hereos 2016. Been playing the hell out the game lately- eating into my POE and D3 time quite a bit. I really enjoy the latter two games a lot too.
I think both D3 and POE have a rather dull elder game by comparison to Marvel Heroes 2016.
I'd like to see POE move in a direction where I have various (equally) viable and rewarding game modes that are necessarily compulsive.
