Nvidia graphics card choice.

Hey guys, so im getting a new computer and i need youguys help on what nividia graphics card can run WoW on ultra 40+ fps. thanks

I havent played WoW in a long time but I have the gtx 580 lightning 3g edition. Always runs smooth and is an amazing card no matter what game I throw at it. Used to get 110 fps on Swtor and am currently around 60-70 fps on ultra settings playing TSW so it can handle anything that you throw at it. It is spendy but in Sli it will destroy any of the newer nvidia cards. Also it runs amazing cool versus anything else in the same performance area and my case at its hottest gets to around 30* C in certain areas otherwise its around 28*C no matter what even with the VGA at full.

You can get by using a 580, WoW is more CPU demanding.

Just go cheap for WoW.

If you just wanna play WoW for PvP/Raiding get a gtx560, they're cheap and play pretty much everything on ultra.
If you wanna stream or record, then maybe get something like a 580 or even 670?

I don't really know much about these things, but im rockin out with a 560 and never had problems with it in new games like BF3/The Secret World.

Oh and just get an i5 2500k and overclock it?

Are you going to record? What is you price point?

If you are going to record then I would recommend the Gigabyte Windforce OC 670 (Have it love it) - On ultrax 25M I sit @ 45fps. Most of the time in BGs 150+
IF NOT go for the 560ti. Fairly priced and awesome for under 250bucks AU

Depending on the CPU, you can always run it full ultra, full AA. Save in raids, but who does that?

But the HD5770/HD6850 and the GTX 460 are indeed the bare minimum for ultra 1920x1080.
Anything above is "wasted" for Wow. It's nost strictly true in areas of mass water with ultra water in dx11, or the purple shadows in Twilight Highlands, otherwise it is in any 5man, city, or open.
