What are some things that Canada, and Canadians are good at?

If I had to name one outstanding element of Canadian culture, it would be multiculturalism. I don't know much about rural Canada, but one thing I love about Toronto is seeing amazingly diverse people, cultures and neighborhoods to intertwine and complement each other, creating something truly greater than the sum of it's parts. We have our share of racists and bigots of course, but overall Canadians feel very open-minded and open-hearted.

The United States of America and America are synonymous. Enough of the technicalities. Canada and Mexico are part of North America. North America + South America + Central America = The Americas. The United States = America. Get over it.

This looks like a nation bashing thread here, where he says 'America' has EVERYTHING and goes on to say that Iraq is associated with suicide bombers (yes I've touched on this already but it just sticks out) and that various other countries have very meaningless qualities such as Ireland has Irish people. In that case, Canada has Canadian people?

My remark about the Americas thing was, I'll be honest, an attempt to highlight the ignorance of the OP. His stereotyping of so many countries while the USA is being portrayed to be so amazing just rubbed me up the wrong way. I'm not saying it's not amazing but if you looked at each of the countries brought up and probably just about every country everywhere, you'll find they all have something amazing somewhere. Anyway, I'll stop the off-topic discussion now in the hope I've explained myself properly.

By the way, the whole thing with bad teeth is actually a popular legend. In reality, English people are near the top when it comes to dental health.

I'm not really sure on how accurate a ranking would be, what with most of the things most special forces units do are classified, but I do believe Joint Task Force 2 (one of Canada's special forces) is up there with the best.

Canada? Known for hockey, good beer, good diplomacy, and being general "nice guys". Big exporter of maple syrup, lumber, comedians (and actors in general), oil (yep, believe it or not American patriot, Canada supplies most of your oil!), and wheat.
