Question Regarding Rated Battlegrounds

Hello, to put it simply, I'm wondering if running (and winning, of course) Rated Battlegrounds would give more reputation (I.E: WSG/AB factions) than unrated would. If this has already been asked, please refer me to that thread, but both wowpedia, and the general search bar on here didn't turn up anything fruitful.
