Let's be honest, Blizzard won't do anything like that for the Alliance. If anything happens it'll all happen in a book with no effect in the game. All the razzmatazz and in-game plot development will go to Horde quest lines.

I bet Jaina's in-came development will be about as in-depth and engaging as the Alliance's opening sequence for Twilight Highlands...oh wait...as in-depth and engaging as the Worgen storyline has been after their starting quests...oh wait...

But it's ok, after the Horde are done having their fun and curbstomping Theramore and the Alliance, you'll have the honor of helping Green Metzen Jesus, who shall allow you into Orgrimmar for the express purpose of helping to get rid of Garrosh, after which you will leave with nary a doilie tarnished. You Alliance will not defeat the Horde. The Horde will defeat the Horde, you'll just be allowed along in a patronizing manner so Thrall can lecture Varian about peace.

Actually they were sitting pretty at the edge of the world during TBC and interacted with both factions through the Violet Eye in Karazhan.

Remember, folks: the Dalaran in Wrath of the Lich King is in the past! Blizzard admitted leveling progression is wonky nowadays, this is why Dragon Soul happens in Dragonblight, but you can't see anything on the overworld there. If Dalaran does shift back to the Alliance and returns from Northrend, we'd simply have two Dalarans: one in Northrend that is neutral and one in Eastern Kingdoms that is Alliance-only. No need to worry about Hordies getting the shaft in Northrend, because the town would still be there and open for them.

This really isnt gonna happen in game. Maybe in the book, but not in-game.
We are getting closer to a release date. If this was gonna happen we would have probably seen some hints about this earlier.

How? Copy paste Dalaran to a desired location and remove all horde npcs and place Jaina in the violet citadel.

Well, Theramore is getting destroyed at MoP launch, it wouldn't make sense if ally would have made action at the exact same time.

    Vereesa is Alliance, too.
You're reading too much into it.
They'd have to find a workaround, because Dalaran is the WotLK central hub for both factions.
It's possible, and I like the idea, but don't be so quick to draw conclusions.

Dalaran could become kind of Alliance, again, but still allow Horde members refuge. Northrend is a harsh place, you know.

Blizzard is too wimpy about forcing balance onto the realms for there ever to be serious war stuff ingame, imo. I think it would be incredibly to have a TRULY war-focused expansion... like... imagine all of the best aspects of the outdoor PvP hubs and zones combined and then put on steroids, where raids are against the other side's factions and some of them can/do involve PvP aspects (think... like... part of the 25-man heroic fight for the alliance against a horde bigshot is a 5-man horde dungeon/group/LFD/something who are assigned to help defend the alliance raid's kill target, and stuff like that). But yeah, when there are realms with 10:1 population issues and Blizzard isn't willing to force balance on that kind of stuff... no way.

Mists is going to move the Alliance-Horde War plot along in patches. With Theramore being destroyed in the 5.0 release patch, the big repercussions (whatever they are) would probably only show up in patch 5.1 or 5.2. There's plenty of time to get that sort of stuff ironed out.

The Dalaran in Northrend is in the past. You could run a scenario in Mists where Dalaran gets shot out of the sky and crashes into Crystalsong Forest, and the city would still be floating there if you went to Northrend. The Wrath of the Lich King story is over, Blizzard can change whatever they want outside Northrend without having to worry about it. Just look at the Scourge remnants in the Plaguelands: they are clearly lacking leadership, but if you go to Northrend you'll still see Arthas (and it's Arthas there, not Bolvar) prancing around pretending to squish your head like a grape from a long way away.

They said the same thing with dealing with the Cataclysm and rebuilding stuff, and that didnt happen. It also didnt happen after the wrathgate in wrath. No reason to expect it to happen this time.

Keep smoking, Jaina is going Neutral and Dalaran (which Blizz doesn't give two shits about) isn't changing.

They did advance stuff as Cataclysm went on. Sure, no one got to do much rebuilding (what with Hyjal burning down again), but we did get a consistent escalation of threats, first with Nefarian and Cho'gall, then Ragnaros (after a short unrelated Troll interlude?) and now Deathwing. Hell, we even got the Molten Front, which was a much more complex task to develop than moving Dalaran back to the old world and model some froth around Jaina's mouth will ever be. :P

Why would they shoot it out of the sky?

Nothing? Dalaran would become the new Theramore.

Yea I read this too, and the same source also claimed that Garrosh would go neutral and would marry Jaina since she is into bad guys, and that they would fly on Kalecgos's back into the sunset.

It was an extreme example, not meant to be taken literally. The idea is that Blizzard can do whatever they want to do with Dalaran in Mists, because the Dalaran from Wrath of the Lich King is frozen in the past. Mists of Pandaria is pushing the story forward in the present. What happens in the present doesn't affect the past (unless you're dealing with those silly Bronze Dragons).

    Oh right, that.

I agree. Dalaran is a sanctuary for both factions, it won't be touched.
