Help. Gta iv serial number

so i just bought & downloaded The Gta 'Rockstar' pack off Steam and i downloaded gta iv first.
I went to play the game and it came up with i needed a serial number which i dont have. and i tried all the things it told me and still nothing.

has anyone else had this problem?

yes, there is a problem, probably steam is out of keys, just try once in couple hours.
