I'm looking for the name of the painting
its of a man sitting in a coffee shop on the corner of an intersection. very famous painting. i think it is impressionism, but i could be wrong.

This is the first thing that came to mind when you mentioned a café and impressionism, but I don't think it's right, because the focus isn't a man sitting on a corner:
'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
