Why the constant nerf to BM?

But some movement is necessary. I mean, modern dungeons (and raids) are filled with swirlies everywhere. BM hunters do not have to learn the skill of maximizing dps while moving, which is why it will probably always have a higher skill floor than other ranged unless the rotation was made insane, which is unlikely given the audience for the spec.

You can debate the degree % it matters, but it is fact that having 100% uptime is an advantage over all other casters. Does that mean the spec is inherently busted? Of course not!

I dont have to debate how much it matters, I can look at top dungeon content and see that it clearly doesn't matter as much as people say it does in these conversations. If it did, if free movement was the be all end all then BM hunters would dominate keys, and even more as you go higher, where massive packs exponentially increase the necessary movement and the large pack size plays well with their uncapped aoe, and yet the data does not reflect that.

At the level of play where the movement is a massive boon no one's playing super well, and at the top levels you stop seeing many hunters, cuz when the hits get heavy they all fall over.

Never seen a hunter solo mythic content, or seen 5 hunters go clear mythic+ without healers. Other classes literally break the game and dont' get a nerf. There is no justification for us being the rock bottom dps.

Well its just as braindead as other specs in the game so it's not that.

Warlock? throw dots and watch the boss melt or just spam chaos bolt
Mage? Just spam fireball and sometimes pyro
the list goes on.

Demo and bm have the advantage of just hiding and let the pets kill you. Thats frustrating.

Not on the bottom of overall or on the two end bosses. BM has among the most parses overall and on most bosses as well.

Hunter (mostly BM) also has competitive play percentages at 20-25 and 25+ keys as well.
