The act of pedophilia is illegal, at least in the U.S. ( i know some countries where it doesn't matter), but actually being a pedophile is not illegal correct? They are born that way as far as the argument goes (thanks to the LGBT) and should not be looked down upon because of their condition so long as they do not act upon it yes?

Uhm. I guess it would be discrimination to punish someone because he is "special". As long as they dont harm anybody or do anything that is illegal, I see no issue here.

However, I am not 100% sure what the definition of "pedophile" is. Is it just the fact that one is attracted to children, or is it the act of... you know...?

A man buys a teen magazine and then does his thing with his thing. There is no child pornography he is looking at, he is just attracted to children and cannot help it due to his born condition. Nothing illegal happened, all he did was something that others would find sick.

Personally I feel we should have more acceptance towards the condition of pedophilia. As a society we should stop thinking that they are "sick bastards that should be locked up or killed", and instead see them as "sick people in great need of help".
If we as a society could do that, it would be much more likely that pedophiles actually went looking for help, instead of keeping it to themselves until they do something horrible. If there wasn't such a big risk that someone might actually beat you to death for just admitting pedophilia, we might be able to catch allot more and stop them before they molest a child.

Ofcourse, someone who's actually conducted acts of pedophilia is a whole different matter. They need to be locked up.

I was recruiting for a guild on SWTOR and promoting that my guild was pedophile friendly, you know they do need friends and people to play with, anyway I get my account suspended because of this. I was not promoting pedophilia and was not doing anything defamatory. Was I wronged here?
