While I do think the justice system is borked, just outright killing them first is not the answer.

The problem with this is that many people have been "proven" guilty and then later acquitted due to new evidence.

This is why we can't execute people willy-nilly just because ignorant forum posters think it's the right thing to do.

I'm sorry, last I checked the United States is a modern civilization. We don't draw and quarter criminals on the spot, we give them their due process to ensure justice is served fairly and correctly. That means making sure we scrounge up every bit of information we can to determine how the person should be dealt with.
