[Open RP] The Quest For The Sword

((Velshin and Broekan, you may post at your leisure. This RP will follow the events of the Salty Sailor Tavern involving my death knights, Neyira and Lethean, the Blood Knight Velshin, and the Frostwolf/Kor'kron Chroni, their meeting, and Velshin's sword. And, if anyone else feels like joining in, whether from the Salty Sailor Tavern RP or just for the fun of it, go ahead.))

The two death knights sit, moments after the Blood Knight exits the tavern.
Both are dressed in dark grey plate, yet they are different races. One, a female Night Elf with long, snow-white hair and pale, violet skin, is equipped with two, jagged runeblades that glow with inscribed Frost Runes. Both are sheathed on her hips, and occasionally the night elf is seen toying with the leather-wrapped grips of each blade.
The second death knight, a male Blood Elf, wears his long black hair in a ponytail, and keeps alert to his surroundings. Beside him, leaned up against the wooden table they are seated at, is his own runeblade, a large, two-handed greatsword that appears to be of elven make. Yet, the blade is dark, and the runes imprinted along the blade's length glow an eerie green, marking them as Unholy Runes. Both death knights - both elves - listened intently on the conversation that had just occurred between the Blood Knight, and the female Orc still seated at the bar.
The Blood Knight had just proposed to let the Kor'kron warrior help him forge a new sword - a special sword - though both death knights knew not of which sword he spoke of, or what this meant. All they did know, was that the Blood Knight and the Orc were supposed to meet at midnight, just north of Booty Bay.
And they were going to be there.
Neither of them knew what time it was, but what Lethean Darkfury did know was that midnight was drawing near. So, moments ago, he had spoken with his companion, Neyira, and they had decided upon which action to take.
Standing, Lethean retrieved Shadowfrost, his runeblade, and sheathed it on his back. He grabbed his full helm, which covered his entire face, yet the two eyeholes let his icy azure eyes show, had two small horns that curled up from the top of the helm, giving it a more demonic look. He slipped it on, then left quietly after the Blood Knight. Both had Deathchargers tied up just outside the tavern; Hers would be used when the time came. All she had to wait for was for the female orc, clad in heavy plate armour, an axe and shield left beside her, to leave . . .

The midnight was drawing near. Velshin reached the meeting destination. He close his eyes and waiting for Chroni patiently. The weather was windy little bit but cool. While waiting for her and the wind breezes Velshin's cheeks and moving his white long hair. Somehow he remembers that it was this same weather when he finally put an end to the Lich King and his scourge. He was remembering every moment of that damned long war.

    Why..I'm remembering this..now..

He is wondering why he is remembering it now. He puts his hands in his pack bag. Could it be? because of this?

he left his hands again from his pack bag and opened his eyes waiting for the orcish warrior.

As the moon shines over the trade port of Booty Bay, Chroni prepares for Her departure, the last few weeks had been harsh and she had counted on returning home to Orgrimmar, but there had been a change of plans, an adventure had emerged from just around the corner, and Chroni found herself in a personal mission, rather than a mission of The Horde.

With her shield strapped to her back and and her axe tied to her belt, she looked out towards the sea, she missed the plains, she missed the sound of the Drums of Orgrimmar, she even missed the red sands of Durotar, but even though she had not been home in 3 months, her mind was fixed on the task at hand.

The elf had her intrigued, his mission was interesting, finding this sword and the journey a head would be exciting, and she hadn't had excitement for a long time.

She strapped her bags to Her frostwolf, and put on her Helmet and picked up her Waraxe, and rode towards the point the elf had chosen for them to meet.

The shadows that flitted through the jungles of Stranglethorn had hidden them well.
They had set out at different times; Lethean before, to follow the Blood Knight to their checkpoint, and Neyira later, once the Frostwolf had left. Neither Blood Knight nor Frostwolf had even suspected that they would be followed; but how it would play out for them was unknown to even Lethean, as he sat in the shadows, waiting, his Deathcharger tied up some distance away. It had strict commands to stay silent, and the sin'dorei death knight knew it would follow that command without disobedience.
He had been waiting for almost fifteen minutes, watching the Blood Knight do naught but the same. He began to grow restless, wanting the Frostwolf to arrive, but knowing full well he could not control when she would. Shadowfrost sat unsheathed, its jagged, rune-inscribed blade glinting in the moonlight. The death knight's icy azure eyes were glued to the Blood Knight, but he also payed careful attention to his surroundings, not wanting to take any chances.
The sooner this orc arrives, the better, he thought to himself. Either way; if she got lost or ambushed, Neyira can take care of herself. What I'd be worried about is that this entire idea would backfire, and we would both be punished severely for disobeying Highlord Morgraine's orders for nothing. This way, at least, we may have something to slightly stay his wrath once we return to Acherus.
    Hopefully.

Velshin heard the footsteps of the orcish warrior, somehow he knew that she would show up as he requested.

He looks at her face with cold serious expression.

with a cold serious tone: I know you would come war maiden.

somehow he is like a completely different person than the one Chroni talked to in the tavern.

he draws his dark crimson two handed sword from his back equipping his dark crimson helm making it covering half of his face while his green fel eyes glowing brighter with the night. Preparing as if it's a battle field. to engage her in one on one combat.

    Draw your weapon warrior..

his voice was louder than usual demanding her to fight.

Chroni looked the elf in the eyes, and without hesitation jumped off her Frostwolf with a firm grip on her Waraxe, "Taken up a fight with an orc of the kor'kron is serious business elf"

Her blue eyes stirred into his fel green eyes, "Come then" She said calmly. Her Frostwolf Tabard swayed in the light wind, silence surrounded them in the night.

He charged at the Kor'kron warrior without hesitation at all.

Thrusting his dark crimson sword toward the warrior chest with two hands to increase the speed and the power impact.

with a grim cold tone: Show me your best..show me the way that you alone slaughtered 100 undead !!

He notices the warrior is equipped with heavy armor plates, way heavier than his elven dark crimson armor. He thinks with a heavy armor like that it will be hard for a person to move freely and even if the person moves it will be slower than usual because of the weight of that armor. but nevertheless he shouldn't underestimate the strength of the orc warrior specially the elite Kor'kron.

Velshin knowing also any simple mistake can be fatal against a Kor'kron warrior.

With a swift move she parried his attack, the force pushed her back a few inches in her footsteps, she quickly moved forward and smashed her knee into his stomach, "The Frostwolf orcs choose to be either warriors or shamans at a very young age, and we receive strict and though training throughout our entire youth" She said and stepped down on his sword.
"I was born to be a warrior elf" She strictly expressed while she grabbed his shoulder pushed him into the ground, "I have no interest... " She put her boots on his chest and pressed the waraxe into the ground and relieved on it's support "in killing you"
She stepped down from his chest "However a good fight always gets the blood pumping."
She reached out her hand towards him "Care for another round?" She said with a smile.

The silence of the night wore off, it was as the sounds of the jungle had silenced during the confrontation and now had reawakened, the moon shined brightly on the nigh sky, the wind whistled in the trees.

Velshin felt the force when the orc warrior pushed him into the ground, a force too great like a wild savage beast knocking him down.

He knows that when it comes to physical strength he is no match to the orc warrior.

with a smirk in his face: I'm no match for you when it comes brute strength..however I'm not your average elf ! He quickly used the reflection of the moon light with his sword toward the orc eyes and used his own blinding holy light given as a gift after the blood knight embrace the light instead of forcing their way to it through the use of arcane and fel magic.

He rolled and flipped back taking a fighting pose as if he is ready for the next round.

Fixing his eyes toward the orc eyes.

Moments ago, Lethean had yet to see the presence of the Kor'kron orc. But it wasn't long before he heard and saw her arrival, then the signal from Neyira that he had followed just seconds afterwards.
The two converged upon one another, stalking silently through the trees. "Any trouble?" he asked her in a whisper. The Kaldorei shook her head.
"None at all," Neyira replied, looking in to Lethean's eyes through his helm. "Though I'm becoming quite irritated with the humidity in this place."
Lethean struggled not to chuckle; he could easily give away their position. "This is a jungle, Neyira," he said, grinning. Before he could speak again, he heard steel scraping on steel as the Blood Knight drew his sword. Both death knights dropped lower, and Neyira's hands were on the hilts of her runeblades.
"What in the name of . . . " she trailed off, standing a bit to get a better look. Lethean followed suit, and watched as the Blood Knight and Frostwolf prepared to . . . Fight each other?
"This must be a test," Lethean whispered, relaxing slightly. "He looks serious, but not in the way that would normally indicate he plans on killing her in cold blood."
"Agreed." Neyira said, and they both fell silent as they watched the following battle ensue.
AT first, neither side seemed to be able to find an opening. They were quite even in the beginning, though the Blood Knight showed some masterful skill with his sword. In the end, though, the orc triumphed over in a test of pure brute strength. What Lethean was surprised to see was the Blood Knight jump back to his feet and ready his sword again. Is this a fight to the death?

"A tactician eh?" She smiled as she grabbed her Waraxe, "you certainly don't see many of those, fighting the mindless scourge"

She shifted pose, preparing herself to engage the elf, when suddenly the sound of a battlehorn rang clearly through the air.

"That sound, that's is not just any Battlehorn, that is the Horn of the Stormwind Guard." She said with thoughtful look on her face.
She stood up with her Waraxe on her shoulder, and said "The Alliance is here"

The horn did not startle Lethean, nor did it Neyira.
But it did make them furious.
"What the hell is the Alliance doing?!" Neyira hissed in fury, drawing both runeblades. Icegore and Frosthowl glinted in the moonlight, and the sound of swords being drawn echoed loudly. Lethean grabbed Shadowfrost, and both death knights jumped from their hiding place, blades ready.
"No need to fear, you two," Lethean spoke to the Blood Knight and Frostwolf as he approached them. "We're not here to interfere with your little test, nor are we here to kill you. We'll explain later; for now, I think the sound of an Alliance warhorn is going to stir the curiosity of many in this place."

Velshin looks at warrior orc and smiled, this time his expression shifted back the same way when he meets her in the tavern.

I knew you were worthy, I just wanted to make sure.

He shifted his eyes toward the elves death knights. Velshin seems not surprised by their presence because even though he thought it was his imagination he in fact sensed someone was following him outside the city. I have no idea what a death knights like you doing in a place like this. However, now is not the time for such thing we have to act swiftly. Velshin said

After hearing the Alliance battlehorn he grabbed his sword with his two hands. He was expecting some people will follow him in this place other than the orc warrior but he wasn't expecting the Alliance.

I think this place will be crowded soon...

Lethean nodded quickly, adjusting his grip on Shadowfrost. "Agreed. Neyira, stick with the Frostwolf. Blood Knight, stay close to me. If I have any experience about fighting Alliance, it's that they aren't too merciful to my kind, nor yours."

Normally Velshin despise Death Knights and their methods, and presence but because one of the Death Knights used to be a Sin'dorei warrior, one of his own race. He decided to tolerate them and put aside their differences.

He gave the Death Knight Lethean an evil smirk saying: Heh..you don't have to tell me that.. I know exactly how these Alliance filth will act.

Velshin remembers the long past when the Blood Elves used to be called the High Elves and were members of the Alliance forces and how the human forces always sacrfice the elven warriors and put them in the front lines.

Chroni remained silent, wondering what the Alliance was doing here, at this time of the day. It was past midnight, the moon still moving it's way over the bright night sky.

She took a firm grip on her axe, readying herself for the battle that would come, she had fought the alliance on many occasions, now another opportunity had shown itself on this beautiful night.

She could hear the footsteps of what sounded to be an entire regiment of alliance footsoldiers moving in on their position.

"The Alliance always have scouts" She said in a low voice "They are to close, their scout should have passed or spotted us by now" She wasn't happy.
"Why is there no scout?" Her blue eyes showed frustration and confusion, this was not a normal battle situation, they were, by the sounds of it, outnumbered greatly, and they had been taken by surprise, but it would seem the alliance would be surprised as well.

"They have the advantage, we need to fight smart if we want to survive, either that or retreat."

Neyira snarled softly, the sound more feral than human. Lethean mirrored the look in her eyes. "We don't retreat. Outnumbered or not, we can take them." He hefted Shadowfrost, the runes shimmering gently, the moonlight glinting off the jagged blade. Neyira twirled both her runeblades, holding one with the tip facing up, and the other backwards.
"Dibs on the first thirty," she growled, narrowing her icy azure eyes as the sounds of the Alliance regiment drew nearer. To the others, she did not even look fearful; one could say she looked excited.
"Damn you," Lethean replied, not smiling, nor sounding truly angry. "We won't retreat," he said again, turning to face the Frostwolf and Blood Knight. "Keep up, or you might fall behind." he said with a smirk beneath his demonic helm. Neyira summoned her own helm, covering her face, giving her a more evil look in the night.
Looks like this little matter concerning this Blood Knight's sword is going to have to wait a while, Lethean thought to himself.

Velshin ready himself he equipped his dark crimson helm. It covered his entire face only his long white straight hair and his eyes visible. With a night like this his fel green eyes glowing more brighter than ever. He tightened his grip with his sword, as if he is ready to strike any second now.

He agrees with Lethean that retreating is not an option. He is confident with his own skills but at the same times he knows that he has the war maiden warrior orc and the Death Knight at his side.

He knows that at time like this they should work together to survive and win this battle.

The Alliance sounds getting closer and closer...

get ready..it will be any seconds now.. Velshin said it with a serious tone and confidence.

"No retreat, no surrender." She said, smiling.

They could now slightly see movement between the trees, "Heh, I guess there is only one thing to say now then."

The first Alliance footsoldier stepped around the corner of trees down the road, as he spotted the warparty up ahead he shouted as loud as he could, "HORDE! TO ARMS!"

Chroni smilled and took a firm grip on her waraxe as she rushed forward towards the alliance soldier, "Lok'tar Ogar. FOR THE HORDE" She shouted with a voice so deep it rang through the forest, so loud everywhere creaturr in stranglethorn could hear it, so fierce it would make any soldier shiver in his bones.

She swung her Axe, cleaving the soldier into two, and then proceeded in cleaving down alliance soldier. "She looked over her shoulder and yelled "Are you elfs going to give me a hand or do I get all the fun for myself?"

Near the trees another Alliance tried to jump behind Chroni the warrior orc.

This time it was a night elf warrior. shouting BY ELUNE.

It's well known that all elves vision get stronger in the night than it's in the day.

Swiftly Velshin charged at the Night elf striking with his dark crimson sword toward the night elf grip so hard to the point it disarmed the warrior elf then another swift slash cutting the night elf throat killing him even before reaching the ground. You are not having all the fun alone...This is a good opportunity to see what you really made of... war maiden. Velshin said while smiling.

The Blood Knight knows that there is more to the Alliance than just sending few weakling troops.

A swift arrow been shot toward Velshin head. However, at the last second Velshin ducked his head dodging the first arrow, then another arrow came after, but the Blood Knight parried it easily with his two handed sword.

They got hunters coming.. watch your back everyone..
