[BWE3] How did your home world do on WvWvW?

As the title says, how did you home world do in WvW pvp? When I stepped into the game on Friday, the first home world I chose was dominated very quickly by 1 of the servers (a DE one) with very few of the players on my server participating in WvW. After a couple of changes to servers I found one where things were a bit more balanced with the servers occupying percentages from 30-40% each.
After launch, I understand that even if your world does terribly on the first 2 weeks, next time WvW starts you will be pinned against different servers with similar performances as yours. Nevertheless, it would be a bad surprise to select a server at start (especially if you get the 3days headstart) and find out the fellow players at your homewolrld are mainly PVEers with no interest in WvW whatsoever...

The world I was on(Darkhaven) just outnumbered everybody and was pretty quick to take territory. Even though I didnt play much of it due to having some lag issues in WvW.

Agreed. I was on Stormbluff Isle and WvW overall was balanced between all 3 servers, the score from 1st to 3rd place was less than 15k.

You bastards. We were SoS. Near the end of the event we were so outnumbered and sandwiched between the two other servers. We had no real plans, and only a few seemed to know about supplies and siege weapons. I think the better players were off doing other things.

WvW is going to rely heavily on guilds taking control and working in numbers.

but it was still close between the 3, I think the top spot had it well under control though, but couldn't push to completely dominate.

I think we dominated the first day, got 2nd on the 2nd day, and then won on the third day, but it wasn't a complete domination.

The last hour before the servers went down was simply awesomesauce on the Stormbluff borderlands just south of Dreaming bay. A grand finale of all 3 servers just having a duke-fest!

I didn't really care bout wvw I just wanted to do the jumping puzzle

which sucked because the torches wouldn't light up for some reason in the dark room but I managed to make it after all

I dont know really, only got to play a little at beta start friday. Then I made the mistake to log out and make a new char and after that endless queue.
However, I did speak to people and it seems like far shiverpeaks have been dominating the last bwe, and got encouraged to join the nordic alliance at release. So looking good, might be a server of world dominance or that at least will fight a lot for it

I checked yesterday and we were at around 115k vs 40k & 50k. Spanking it UP.

Then today I looked and we were last haha, something to do with them resetting WvW? A glitch in the matrix?

My server (Anvil Rock) and the other server in there (don't remember the name) got COMPLETELY DOMINATED by Darkhaven this weekend. Seriously. Darkhaven had 100% of the WvWvW map. It was ridiculous. Hopefully all the really good servers will get matched up against each other in release like Anet says they will. Otherwise, I will never be stepping foot into WvWvW when 1 server is always constantly winning.

When ever I was online, and checked the scores, each of the 3 servers seemed rather balanced with a 30% hold per server. There was a few times when one server would get a little bit more control than a third (usually 40%), but it would usually go back to normal after an hour or so. The few hours before the end of beta though, our server just dominated the scores, with a 60% occupation.

Desolation dominated the first 2 days of WvWvW winning with double the score of the other teams. Initially on the third day it was balanced but towards the end began to dominate!

They said that the first 2 WvWvWs will be rather unbalanced on the start of the game, as they do not know how skilled the playerbase is on the particular servers.

As your Server is progressing ( winning or losing ) you will be put against other better/worse servers in the game.

OT: My server was always around the middle, and was not pretty balanced.

In the first two BWE our server dominated but with the server reset I think our awesome player base interested in WvWvW changed to another server

First day, got stomped. One World controlled the whole map (literally the other 2 had 1 building each).
Second day was balanced. All worlds had roughly equal control.
Third day, stomped again. 100k+points vs 19k vs 20k.

Underworld did ok, we had about a third of the map on first and third day, nearly nothing on second day because of how it lagged.

I remember that. Played on SoS who was 2nd against darkhaven and one other server I can't remember. So much rushing back and forth through the tunnel near bottom right of borderlands. Then the wall broke from something I don't know and we had ballista defenses...
We got stomped against the second set.

The realm I was playing (EU-Grotto) got absolutely stomped. Safe to say I most likely won't be playing that server in release.
