Really good idea in my opinion, the current system was pretty much a joke, and I hope that this works out much, much better. TAP is "transition assistance program", for veterans coming home/returning to civilian life. We needed this about 20 years ago, glad it is finally getting done. Shame it had to wait for an imminent election for it to be announced

Though to add, I think that they should add psych to it as well, try to waylay PTSD as much as possible.

I participated in TAP last May when I got out of the military. I must say I learned alot of valuable information from how employers conduct an interview and how they read you during one to how to write different kinds of resumes. I definitely think all veterans who are thinking about seperating and not going the full 20-30 yrs participate in this class.
