People are rallying to stop people from using dark comedy at all, and where's the logic behind that. Dark comedy is a direct descendant of satire, it's not serious, it's to make people laugh and bring about thoughts of the subject matter. When someone makes that joke they are bring light of two issues, West Nile virus in Greece and to poor protection of people in Africa. It's not racist at all, it has nothing to do with the race of the people involved, rather where they live.
It's seriously devolved to the point where you can't even make a joke on your own personal twitter without having a million people claim that you are some sort of monster. The same thing happened to Daniel Tosh about a rape joke, it's just saddening. It's the blatant immaturity that fills the Political Correctness movement that shocks me to this day, people manage to make mountains out of mole hills while simultaneously making mole hills out of mountains.
