WoW almost lagging out but no addon errors..?

So lately whenever I hover or my gear my game acts like it is gonna freeze and crash. It slows down till I move the mouse off of the gear. I'm not getting any addon errors so I'm not sure what would cause? Anyone had any similar experiences/solutions?

Have you tried logging on with all addons disabled?

Yeah that is the odd part. I've turned one addon off at a time to try and find the bad guy but nothing. I've logged in with nothing and it still lags. I reallllly don't wanna DL and reinstall

I actually used to have a similar issue.
I was using the Playerscore addon, that's what caused it.
Do you happen to have this addon too?

Negative. I just use bartender, Skada, Bagon, Atlastloot, DBM, Power Auras, Quartz and Auctioneer. Though my AH is kinda slow too. I turned Auctioneer off and it still was and still lagged so I'm lost.

The first thing to do is make sure all your addons are up to date. An out of date one can cause issues such as you are describing. Also, just disabling addons will not fix anything if an addon caused a file to get corrupted.

Yeah, I made sure everything was up to date and all that jazz. I was coping folders and stuff messing with my UI awhile ago I'm wondering if I maybe did something. I think I better just bite the bullet and try the repair or just do a clean install. Still would of been nice to know the reasoning.

    Update your graphics drivers.

Copy your WTF folder to another location. Your desktop perhaps.

Do the same with your Cache.

Try it with that. If it doesn't work, try a fresh install.

If neither of those work, reinstall WoW. It doesn't hurt to do periodic reinstalls of it.
