    Budget laptop around $500~600

    Hello all,
I'm currently in the market for a new laptop as mine is around 4 years old, not to mention the integrated graphics card. I currently run WoW in all low settings and get roughly around 24fps.
All I would like is to purchase a laptop that can run WoW on a decent medium setting, cheaper the better. If you could please recommend me some decent laptops around my budget, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again.

Edit: Not sure if this is any good, but hows this?

The one you linked might accomplish your goals but I thinking soon as mists comes out you will be back in the same boat while in the newer zones.
Honestly I wouldn't even consider a laptop at that budget especially if you intend to use it for 4 years.

Exactly Lockblock, Laptops are designed to be portable and compact, most are not designed to game on for extended periods etc. In that budget range you will never be happy gaming. Sorry for the reality check Ohwow.

I have browsed a couple of threads and have narrowed my choices down to these two:
    1) http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c...1FBDB172571912
    2) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834246323

I understand that the Y570 is more powerful, but it is also $120 more expensive. The only reason I'm considering the U400 is because of the smaller size.
To you guys, does it seem to be worth the $120 upgrade?

I understand, but a PC just isn't an option for me at the moment. I just want the laptop to be better than what I currently have with a bit of casual gaming.

I'm pretty both of those laptops can easily play wow past the lowest settings

Your OP stated that you have 24fps. With a $500+- budget you wont see an improvement in FPS worth speaking of. So what are your goals game wise? FPS costs real dollars. Buying a new laptop in the 500$ range to replace an old one will seem and be faster in many aspects, but no matter how you stack it, you aren't going to be impressed with graphics in that range.

My second post shows the two laptops I'm interested in.
I'm just a casual wow player(questing and dungeons, no raids) and just wish to get a bit of quality on medium settings because I get 24fps(while questing, not even in the major cities) on the bare minimum low settings on everything. Sometimes I cannot even see the questgiver until I'm right next to him.

Is better for your budget. It's like $80 cheaper. You will notice no difference in processor power since you'll only be gaming, and the RAM difference is ok. 4GB is totally fine.

Also, those links are from me =P (special snowflake atm).

    For 450$ you get the Acer 5560G with A6-3420M, 4GB DDR3, Radeon 7670M (=6650M) and 320GB HDD:

If you really want to spend 50$ more, you can buy some small SSD and use it.

i suggest saving for longer and getting something a bit more powerful.
