I seriously don't understand how a 15 year old girl can beat top professional girls in their mid 20's.
In few month she improved her time with more than 10 seconds, it's not possible without doping in my opinion. I have a huge passion for swimming and know how hard it is to improve your personal best. Therefore i seriously doubt Ledecky won fair and square.
Hard work won't do it alone in this case, sorry.

If she was using performance-enhancing drugs, they'll catch her eventually. If not, congrats to her.

It was a 10 second improvement in an 8+ minute race if I'm correct, which really isn't that crazy of an improvement as far as a % increase especially considering shes still young and improving.
There have been tons of very young swimmers turning professional, this isn't really new.

Improving by hundredths of a second is what's expected of professional swimmers because it's already accepted that they've already achieved their relative peak of fitness, that's not true for a 15 year old girl. Originally Posted by zuluslayer

Having a huge passion and actually competing and knowing about the sport are two different things. It was the 800 Free like really? I guess Sun from China is doping too. I mean he broke the world record in the 1500...his own record. Please try not to use your opinions as fact since it makes you look uneducated.
