List of achievements being taken out...?

I keep hearing different things from different people as to what's actually getting nixxed when MoP comes out as far as what will still be achieveable achievements. I don't really want to work on stuff prior to the release if I can work on afterwards.

Well, everyone is saying "I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome i am" (Sinestra Undying achievement), but i'm positive it won't, as it gives no titles or such. Call it a gut feeling.

As for the other achievements... Cataclysm never gave us something special that will go away with MoP. Maybe the mounts from the new ZG/Za will all become Feats of Strenght at 1% chance, but as far as i know, no major changes, just speculation.

The rated battleground achievements to reach the top 0.5% of the rankings in season 9 and 10 will become Feats of Strength. There will be a new general achievement to replace that one (reach the top 0.5% in any season). Apart from that one I don't think there are any achievements being removed (yet).

All such achievements from WotLK have been removed, whether they granted a title or not. There is a reason to expect that this achievement might be receiving the same treatment. If you wish to obtain it, I suggest not waiting for MoP.

Well, the achievement "Against all Odds" got plain removed after they stated they'd turn it into a Feat of Strenght, but you got a point there: even "He feeds on your Tears (10/25)" and Tribute ToC runs got removed and became Feats... i guess we'll see in due time.

The Sinestra undying achievement is exactly the same as the Algalon "He Feeds on your Tears" and that is now a feat of strenght.

And as it is for the ZA/ZG mounts, the ZG mounts are already a close to 1% drop. Well, maybe not 1%, but below 10% for sure.

99.9% sure the Sinestra achievement will become a FoS, the ZA/ZG won't give FoS's, heck even Onyxia's mount doesn't give a FoS and it's the rarest drop in-game.

You can still obtain 'He feeds on your tears'. Your whole raid just has to be level 80. People have been getting those achievements when doing Herald of the Titans (which is also still obtainable).

No its not obtainable. Clearing Ulduar every week without anyone dying. At least not in 25 man.

@topic: There is no clear logic in blizz's way how to deal with AVs ... just do them and be happy if you get a fos more.

As long as you fullfill the requirements (beeing 80 and only ulduar 10- equipped) you can still get it.

Are there any evidence? Searched through both (10 / 25 man) wowhead av commentars and no one mentioned this. At least the accountwide feature with MoP would be beneficial in 1 term for me. <3

It is indeed, but i guess the other posts were talking about "He feeds on your tears", which isn't obtainable anymore.

I don't remember ANY mount Achievements that got removed at Cataclym..
Naxx 10+25 Mounts was Removed when Ulduar patch hit, and those are the only mounts from achievements that was removed

Every expansion has their new FoS Achievements, i don't think MoP will be the exception.

There should be any FoS about a special item, mount, or a normal achiev going FoS, isn't it?
Oh well, i'm just a FoS lover u__u

The only mount achievements that got removed where the Nax drakes and those were removed way before Cataclysm was even announced. The Ulduar drakes and the ICC drakes are still available to all to obtain.

As for achievements, I'm sure once the pre-patch goes live ICHYOTSOHAIA is going to go FOS, just like FOYT. While it's possible they may do something like HotT, it's hard to say.

I Can't Hear You Over the Sound of How Awesome I Am is now a Feat of Strength and rewards no points.

This has been confirmed to be a FoS in MoP. if you where unsure about getting it now is the right time to do the push.
