My life is complete, it's finally been announced.

Really excited, spent over 300 hours on EU 3, about same on HoI 2 and just recently bought HOI 3 and Victoria 2 and been in love with those too. Really eagerly waiting for this, mainly hoping that they improve the combat system and diplomacy.. Those two are quite meh on EU 3 so really hoping that they improve them somehow

Not really. The reason being theres no way it will have all the content and polish EU3 + 4 expansions has.

I'm ashamed to admit that being a fan of 4X, I never tried Europa Universalis.
The night is dark and full of terrors...

Was never a big EU fan. A little too "strategy" heavy for me.

I'm more interested in Impire, another upcoming Paradox game. I loved Dungeon Keeper.

    Sir Robin, the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot.
Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Angnor.
Who had almost stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol.
And who had personally wet himself, at the Battle of Badon Hill.

Going to be awesome if they can keep the quality from CK2's launch to EU4 as well.

If it retains the quality of CK2 at launch I see no reason why it'd be unpolished. Also according to an interview they're basing it off EU3 and the expansions. Apparently they had 2 more expansions planned out but figured they might as well make a new one.
