And it is the only time he used this power in his term, while other Presidents have used it many more times. It is entirely unfair to call him on one case when other Presidents have abused it.

And elects Mitt Romney, or anyone other then Obama, do you think that he will change his views from his campaign trail? I know a lot of canidates to, including Mr. Obama, who blatantly lied about several things in order to get votes, then as soon as he took office completely turned a blind eye to the same promises he made (Gitmo, a real health care plan) claiming republican interference (when in reality, he had a majority and chose not to fight for anything)

As an aside, I voted for obama because I foolishly believed he would actually be at least a little different, and I fell for his (looking back now) outright lie of a platform (Hope? More like "more of the same nothing both parties have done for the last 16 years plus)


This thread is not about the election, but what kind of president Romney would be. I am sure several of the more left leaning posters will come in here and say he will be the devil incarnate, while ignoring Obama's train of lies and outright treason, and destruction of the constitution of these United states of america. How many more Americans will be murdered by the government without a trial if he gets four more years? How long will torture be a standard practice for our government, despite lies saying he would fix it?


I personally think Romney would suck if elected. He seems phony as all get out to me, and I do not plan on voting for him as I would rather vote for someone I believe in, even though they cannot win. I know a vote for anyone but Romney is a vote in a way for obama, however I do not feel that way. You vote for who you believe in, not because X party. To bad America has forgotten that.
