That is an absolutely beautiful floating ball from Van Persie, but what makes it is the height Evra got on that. He's able to get such clearance off the ground that Van Persie can put in a higher ball that normally goes over everyone's heads unless they're the size of Crouch.

He's nowhere near under the strain of last season where he suddenly became defacto Captain and was constantly in the media with Suarez. He can just focus on his game.

Buttner has done Evra a world of good. Nothing screams motivation like a young kid playing his arse off for your spot. Evra has responded well to that challenge though, because quite frankly he was subpar.

Pool is just playing a lot better defensively and United is passing kinda sloppy. This is how football works. Lose focus and you are doomed.
