This might be widely known, but I just thought about it a couple days ago, but some people might not think about it.

With mounts being account wide, you can farm it one per day for each character you have that can solo it. For many people thats at least 5x per day!!

Quintuple down on your chances! I know this might be common knowledge, but Im sure there are some people who dont know!

yeap, 10 kara runs each reset also, no luck after 50+ kills in 5 weeks and 100+ on main only before that .. /sigh

I have been doing this since TBC with all characters nearly on a daily basis, Yet to see a bird even drop. RNG hates me, only my paladin I have gotten it to a two minute clear. (raven boss clear not full)

Kara is a lot harder to solo though.... only get in there once in a blue moon.

Hehe, for me its not the location. Its getting people to group up with me 10x for the raid. (Mostly me, because i hate bugging people to group and raid as they would either have to relog or stop questing.) They really should get rid of that requirement to enter raids.

You can start a trial account so you can invite that character to form a raid. However, you need to get it to level 10 before you can convert to raid.

Or you can have two accounts. I have two with a DK on the other one so I can use his level 61 awesomesauceness for solo raiding

The boss that drops the fiery warhorse can be soloed by any decently-geared 85. I've been in there several times on Arms Warrior and clean house easily enough. And it's the very first boss too in the basement.

Not sure if you are trying to be funny but Kara is soloable by a 80 character that is having a stroke ;o

Done that and got it after about 50 accumulated runs. Trying the same for the Karazhan mount.

I got it the first time I ever ran Kara, and it was my first day in a new guild. Happy RNG.

PS. I rolled last because I saw a 99 and was so pissed, until I rolled that 100.

No! In dire need of more ravenlords! Maybe you can convince blizzard to get you "the Ravenlord Hoarder". I opened a ticket asking to get the Phoenix Hoarder after i looted 25 pets from farming the Hawkstrider. Couldnt be done though

Started farming that with my mage first week of Cata without any gear. Never had any problem.

Kara is not hard to solo for any class on 85, no matter what gear. That's why they quickly nerfed boss gold drops there in the very beginning of Cata. Even the chess event only takes marginal understanding of mechanics to solo.

Technically no. You need at least one other person to do KZ. I think MC is the only soloable raid.

No, just no. It takes way less time to do huntsman (aka the first boss who's nearly visible from the entrance) and get out than it does to do setthek halls.

i had 2 chars with camel hoarder, lol


it did take a year to get my first ravenlord
