Trying to remember an old PC game

Hi folks, me and some friends were talking about an old video game from the early to mid 90s and none of us could remember the name.

I'll try to explain it....

It was just a ball bouncing and you had to make the bounce area smaller by clicking the mouse and a line would draw horizontally or vertically depending on the mouse button you pressed. If you the ball touched the line as it was drawing it, you lost. When you finished the level, the next level had 1 more ball, eg level 1 = 1 ball, level 2 = 2 balls, etc etc.

Hope someone can help, as it's annoying me now.

There are a lot of different versions of this game. I played a version of this game after school while stuck at school waiting for my ride home a lot of times. You operated a ship with the arrow keys and had to fill in 90% of the space (or some percentage) without the enemies hitting the wall before the wall was complete.

I think it was on Pogo or something.

You plant your brassicas in May, cover them in mulch.
