Being indecisive on new GPUs, halp!

Alright, so long story short a buddy of mine offered me cash for my GTX 580s, and it was a deal too good to pass up (one of my 580s was a Xmas gift, and the other one I bought used itself, so I actually made money). So, now I've got some money to burn, and I've settled on 2 GPUs. Either the GTX 670 or the 7970 Ghz edition. 1980x1020 resolution. Wat do?

I should mention my consideration of the 7970 is that, while it's a little more than the 670, the increased membus and VRAM makes it really attractive, especially when considering heavily modded games like Skyrim.

The 7970 Ghz Edition is going to out perform the 670 in almost all circumstances, have a much higher overclock ceiling, have a higher membus if you decide to go multi-monitor and have more VRAM for higher resolutions.
