I am personally, financially better off than I was 4 years ago. There've been ups and downs of course, but on the whole I am much better off.

Yes.
Economy is going up, unemployment is going down. Obama didn't wave fairy dust and fix the economy but things are slowly getting better.

Do I get to click something as a European?
It really depends on the context. Am I personally better? Yes... I guess. Is the country better as a whole? Once again it depends on your criteria and what you want to focus on, but in the context of the election, I would have to say yes.
"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity."
It's hit or miss for me. This time in 2008 I was living on my own, but moved in with parents shortly thereafter as graduated from Uni at the end of 2007. I still haven't found a job, but I am in graduate school now. So, generally I'm going to say worse off, since it has been a struggle.
The country is heading for a second recession. Would I blame that on Obama? Well you have to look at the cause, a deregulated wallstreet, housing crash, and two foreign wars. None of those things were his doing, it was done by the man that preceded him.
Things are slowly getting better, it's gonna take a long time to fix all the shit Bush ruined.
Anyone who blames Obama for the current situation is ignorant, and forgetting that it was Bush that put us in most of the hole.

Even though I will be voting Obama back in, the remaining effects of Bush's term really screwed my family over:
My mom lost her job of 30+ years at Underwriter's Laboratories who outsourced them to China/India. She has been unable to find a job since, however has had many interviews, but she is overqualified for almost all of them.
Four years ago I was working full-time at Walgreen's, after hours started getting cut and they were wanting me to work night time hours, I ultimately quit, so that's my own fault, but it doesn't change the fact Walgreen's has continued to go downwards.
As for now? I am in college, same with my sister. I chose 'no' but that's because of my mom's situation, I hope that within a couple years things will change a bit, but Romney/Ryan? Hah, that will only make things worse.
This..i feel really left out
4years so it's obviously about obama...people look for the perfect leader...when they find out they can't give them everything they want they move onto the next big thing and then repeat the process....No one person can possibly fix everything especially if you consider that you are basically voting between the same two parties except each time they have a different face
You should have put "Same." I think 99% of any logical American would select that option.
Meh Im about the same
I wish congress would actually do their job
No, I don't think we're better off than we were four years ago. That being said, we're certainly better off than if McCain had won in 2008, and in the next four years, we'll be better off with Obama than Romney. I *am* making the assumption that this is referring to presidential terms.

Companies have been outsourcing for years, and yes, it is cheaper, but we're competing with a wage level that is unsustainable in modern America. There's a reason products are produced over there and sold over here. They could never sell their goods to the markets that produce them.
