It was a hot morning on a rather dusty internet café somewhere in Greece, where a bunch of people were struggling to come up with a name. Suddenly a wannabe dentist and future raid leader spit it out…

The Aunans

The Aunans were initially created some months after Vashj EU server was up, at 28th of May 2005. From September 2005 we started managing raids with great success and really fun atmosphere resulting to stepping foot to all instances WoW had to offer. After January 2010, it was decided to transfer to Darksorrow EU, hoping this server will help us enjoy rest of WotLK and Cataclysm at a higher level.

Loot Distribution

Loot is being distributed by EP/GP DKP system, with a daily decay of 8% to Earned and 10% to Spent. This means that if your performance is good enough to pass the trial period, you will find yourself pretty soon up to the priority list. The DKP table will be reset completely for Mists of Pandaria.

Our Raiding Schedule:

Scheduled 25man raids
Monday : 20:00-23:00
Tuesday : 20:00-23:00
Wednesday : 20:00-23:00
(Thursday : 20:00-23:00 Depends on the content and how much we cleared on wednesday)


Offdays raids
Friday to Sunday : Rated Bgs, Arena's, Alts Raids and other Social Events


What we need from you

It is essential before you apply to meet the following criteria :

- 75% attendance, thats 3/4 raids a week attendance,
- Experience raiding, kills closer to release will look better,
- proper PVE spec/gemming/enchanting regarding our current level of progression,
- ability to talk on Mumble when needed,
- always be ready with consumables before raid starts (potions,flasks and food, The guild have been supplying feasts (and cauldrons in Cataclysm) in previous content but you should always bring your own food and flasks on the off chance that you miss a feast or cauldron)
- be mature and polite to your fellow guild members
- warn on time, when you can not make a raid

We read applications almost every three days (about 2 times per week). You will get notified via personal message, e-mail or through your real-id if you are accepted or not. You are advised to refrain from spamming officers for the status of your application, since this can result only in a negative way!


The information needed from you to be included in your email are the following :

- Your personal information, such as Age, Name, Nationality, General information (work/study/hobbies) and your Real-ID (Real-ID's will only be seen by the officers in the guild!)

- Your characters’ information, such as Name, Class, Spec, Offspec, Serious Alts, Armory Links, Past Guilds and why you left, your Stats and Spells priorities, Raiding Experience, Screenshot of your UI, Combat Logs

- Your PC/Internet information, in order to check how suitable for raiding it is and

- Anything else you can think that is relative with your application and can increase your possibilities to get accepted.
