5.0.4 Resto shaman haste caps....

So many sites I have looked at are giving me all different numbers. can anyone clarify the caps?

Looking of icy veins guide (i cant link it)


Non goblin, AS, and 5% raid buffs

Rip tide ticks
25% Buff - 1717 Rating - 9 Ticks (counting the very first heal as a tick)
30% Buff - 2294 Rating- Should be 10? ( i do not get another tick)

Currently at 2351 I get 8 ticks of Rain.
with 2283- I get 7 ticks of rain.


Ok, so i found that haste cap,but im trying to find the next riptide cap.
I could be over thinking and should just drop down and get more spirit. But since i was so close to what i thought the next cap was id go for it.
My current spirit is 3115 (with out the spirit trinket proced)

To answer my own question that 30% cap only relates to an extra tick of Rain and HTT.

So what haste numbers did you finally come to? 2294 or 2351?

Right now going with the 2351 for the extra tick of Rain and HTT. Till we raid and i can see if my spirit is to low. Need to some testing to see which i like better

And since it somehow relates to this... how much spirit do you have on gear (including trinket) now that TC isn't viable anymore? 3k? 3,5k? 4k?

Not in a group, 4095 spirit with trinket(normal mode). Should be enough I think. Will test it out in a raid soon. pew pew heals. Once mop comes though, think im gonna retie my shaman for a monk.

Bear in mind, those are for *Level 90*.
