1) Per other thread, mastery nerf's also a scaling nerf. Could consider crit instead later on? Not sure how this will alter our stats, but mastery might still end up being king especially with simply more mastery points. Spirit is definitely looking like king now though.
2) The AoE buff got reverted, so I'm not sure what to think about Daybreak. The 2 charges helps prevent "wasting" daybreaks, but the single-charge got nerfed to 75%. That and if they reverted the AoE change, it will just be a garbage ability again that is 67% overheals. Even with 2pc.
After seeing the other necro'd thread about SoI + melee on bosses, it got me thinking; Should I be doing this every chance I get? Also, Glyph of the Battle Healer? Seems like a viable option since there arent really any must-have glyphs.
So yeah, is this considered mandatory (even though I haven't really seen it talked about much), situational, or simply optional?
Thank you. I'll try to keep it in mind on bosses. Since I got over the iLvL 490 hump mana has seemed much easier, though it could be much better if I wanted to get more spammy on HR
Yeah last night in LFR I tried it out. Sometimes it's tricky or not enough time, but others with stuff like Horridon, I was able keep plenty of mana while still casting tons of HR's for raid healing. And yeah Xs, I definitely try to keep HS on cooldown.
stupid question here, i just hit 90 on my pala, does the absorb affect from sacred shield increase with spell power or anything? it seems kind of weak, 13k absorb isnt even half a hit in a raid. am i missing something here?
SS does scale with SP but in terms of raw strength its got nothing on Eternal Flame
