So it's been nearly 2 days since 5.0.4 went live, and so far I've made about 24k...would have made more if every AH addon wasn't broken on day one.

Still, can't really say I'm disappointed. Some of the major sellers for me:

Glyph of the Stag (literally sell 5 of this an hour)
Glyph of Stars
Glyph of Fire From The Heavens
Glyph of Fetch
Glyph of Demon Hunting
Glyph of Winged Vengeance
Glyph of Conjure Familiar

Among a few others...

I'm replying to say that these new glyphs are awesome and much more on the right track than before. I always wanted the minor glyphs to be more cosmetic and fun. Not to mention, new talent system all the way!

Haven't made that much, on my realm a bunch of those and others that started out high tanked within the first 12 hours because some scrubs started throwing them up for significantly lower than the current market value, and then everyone was undercutting those prices. Up to about 5k from glyphs so far.

Not much. I made about 5k in 2 hours after the patch came online, selling as high as 750g for some glyphs. Then some white knight came along and saved the day by posting his entire glyph collection @40g a piece. Hurray!

Yeah, now on my server glyphs are 37g each normally.

I've made over 100k in the past 2 days after patch went live

It was so great that most of my competition in the market agreed to move fall backs to 500g each. It's was a win/win for everyone.

since release of 5.0.4, I've made 80k. Need another 30k so I can buy the TCG rooster mount, which is what got me into glyphs in the first place. Will probably take a day or two. It's unfortunate That the market settled down on my server within 24 hours, what used to sell for 450-1100 is now going for 50-80. Don't think people understand undercutting...

450-1100 gold is overpriced considering how few mats you need for glyphs. Were you expecting prices to stay that high? Only the most desperate people cough up that amount for glyphs.

Fronzebeef. Yeah, because the shoulder enchants in MoP will not be made by scribes... and I guess monks will roll without glyphs?

On topic. Low pop server here, but still made over 15k gold, that is with compeeting with at least 3 other people on the glyph market.

Made 18k since yesterday on an average realm. Had my partner log in when servers came up to list/relist all my glyphs while I was at work! Made a lot last night to compete with some of the bigger selling glyphs mainly the novelty one's like fetch and stag etc.

Selling 2 x Luminous charger glyphs for 999g each made my evening

Quite the contrary, I make a few k a week from just glyphs, normally focus only on those selling at 100g plus, considering it only costs us on average 15g to make them its all profit.

There's nothing stopping you from leveling your own scribe.

Also, hate to break it to ya but when MOP hits there's several glyphs that require the new ink that you'll need/want to buy. Oh, and if you roll a monk, you're gonna get hit hard at 25. :P

But yeah, like this thread said if you would have waited a few days most markets have settled down and prices have dropped drastically.

Also, I think most people are getting glyphs for their mains now, and in the weeks to come they will go for the alts. And alts needs glyphs too.

I've been buying up under cutters and selling it at the market prices the majority have put them up for.

I'am also testing the market for those key blade staffs.

Everything on the AH can be farmed or obtained by your own means. I can't stand people that complain about prices, if it was the ONLY way to obtain the items sure... but it's not.

15k gold yesterday, 25k today... all that profit lost tho as i just bought Vial (for the sole reason of flying around my monk to instances) but of course i expect the market to be lucrative a few more days. Glyph of Illusion is one big seller for me.

33k since patch went live on EU. It was crazy at the start, people were paying almost 1k a glyph soon as servers were up although it soon dived when the other scribes starting getting on too.

Its not easy money by any means. I stockpiled and did my prep but I'm constantly re-listing and its getting a tad boring now. Probably going to jack it in after this weekends crowds and stick to a smaller range of glyphs. Stag and Stars are the big sellers for me.
