Pretty much the same you've been doing while you leveled.
Try to think of Guild Wars 2 endgame less along the lines of WoW and more along the lines of Battlefield 3.
WvWvW, sPVP, Tournament PVP, Story mode dungeons, Explorable mode dungeons, World bosses.
Holy crap, you mean you can just chill out and do whatever you actually want with your friends and have it be relevant? Why do people ask these questions?
People still play chess, scrabble, countless other games that don't evolve, because, oh, I don't know, it's social, enjoyable, relaxing, and so on..
If you want progress, every few weeks get a bit of paper and stick it on your screen next to your level and pretend it increased, maybe photoshop on a few extra 0s to each damage count

^ agreed, and no game has ever rewarded you so much for exploring, and the terrain in this game can't really be compared to wow, the amount of detail and design that was put into the landscape is amazing and I've never seen it done like that before..
But I will admit when I first logged into the human starting area and seen those houses in the instances zone I thought my video card had died those are god awful, but most everything else in the game so far is magnificent.. The amount of networked caves with multiple entrances and exits are amazing when you slow down and really stop to smell the roses the amount of effort and love they put in this game really shows..
Back on topic, even after you've done everything there is to do there's still more because arena net mentioned a "live team" that is supposed to be adding and changing things for as long as the game is supported..
You can do the Orr events and try to get to the final dungeon in the game. As shown in the video below, Orr is incredibly hard...
You could also try getting a legendary weapon.
The weapons look great but it is estimated it would take about 200 hours to get the mats to create one.

So far I have done 72% of the World completion and I have done 127 levels split between my Warrior and my Engineer, basically did every starting zone and city 100% then repeated this flow through the higher zones i think i was level 49 starting 25+ areas I had just so much to do it was just awesome. It is a slower process this way and i am doing two toons to 79 then ill decide which to ding 80 first, a few good things to note I have all trade skills at 200 min i think my lowest was tailoring at 201 and i have saved pretty much all my skill points should have 150 at 80 so only 60 more to go after.
Finding the game a lot of fun and the worlds are just what a 2012/13 triple mmo should be a huge huge leap in terms of quality of life and playtime. At level 80 i can imagine me getting my first legendary skin after a few weeks some of them take 250 unidentified dyes which is going to be fun and a hard challenge not discover them . Not sure why the instance tokens have been removed from the material list of Legendaries I think it was like 13 runs got you what you needed anyway prehaps they want it more player friendly which is great.
Cut a long story short at 80 do the sick events discover the map and even if you do 100% each map check the achievments you need to visit each place on the map not just the POI and waypoints which will take an extreme amouint of time to fully complete.

DEs are far from completely random. They are a very fixed list and while some zones have bigger chains the amount of events within them are very finite. People will exhaust that content, some people sooner than later. And of those events only some are what I'd call "bad ass", with a lot being escort quests that aren't called quests. It's a very good game, but the content is very far from "dynamic" and "random" and I'd say we are still a very long way from having a game which comes close to delivering on those scores.
Definitely not a fixed list. Once the major issues of the game are ironed out, their live team will get right on adding more to the game, including areas you've already been.
The content is "dynamic" and "random" in every sense of both words, especially relative to the questing methods employed in games like WoW or City of Heroes. Those quests are definitely static. They are always in the same place, done the exact same way, and are typically one-time-only.
That quest you pick up to go kill 30 corrupted wolves? That quest is always there to be picked up, from the same spot, completed one-time-only every time. And those wolves you're sent off to kill? They're always there. Always. You can never get rid of them. You come back 2 years after doing the quest, the corrupted wolves are still there, no matter what.
Dynamic events will not be a one-time only thing that nobody but you gets to see, no. They do repeat. But when you fight off the Sons of Svanir from the bear shrine successfully, they're gone. Even if it's temporary, their attacking the shrine isn't represented by a bunch of Sons of Svanir mobs idling about near the shrine. They actually are attacking the shrine. I've yet to see what happens if it fails, though, and I'm curious to see it.
Events do not simply cycle every couple of minutes. There's quite a bit of randomness and other factors to decide whether or not they start up at any given time, and can be influenced by the presence or absence of players.

There are TONS of stuff to do in the game regadless your level( level scales to the zones so you litteraly won't walk in the park).
There are VERY HARD jump quests in the game that could take you hours to complete for example.
Professions after lvl 150 are extremley hard to level without propper AH prices.

Dynamic events, some require a ton of people to complete.
Farm legendary weapons. They require a ton of time input and farming.
Instances, both story mode and exploration mode. The latter is challenging to say the least.
Raise your WvW and/or PvP rank. This game is heavily influenced by Dark Age of Camelot and that was the focus of "End game" was grinding your PvP rank.
Achievements, if that's your thing.
Map completion, which includes PvP zones.
Level alts and do all of the above with them as well.
If you're looking for someone to say "raiding" you're not going to hear it, it was known from the get-go that there would be no raiding in the traditional sense. There are world bosses that are dynamic events that require an enormous number of people to down, and give good loot, but that's about as close as you can come.
If logging in at a specified time certain nights of a week to do the same boss encounters over and over is your thing, there's tons of other games that do that very well, and I don't doubt that GW2 will have it at some point (even DAoC implemented organized raiding) but it's not the focus.
End game players are a big part of the MMO community. I figured they would do something like "rare events" which would work like Hardmode raid bosses in other MMO's, but obviously there would only be 1 or 2 bosses, not actual raids, just really hard events that people can compete to complete first with. That is a big part of the community that won't stick around or won't play at all.
In my opinion, adding raids to the game would just make it that much more epic and it would bring a much larger player base to the game.
Nothing, it's basicly like Diablo. Once you done your leaving for another game.
Depends on what you mean by end game. It's less than 10% of the WoW population that raids extensively. Not even 15% downs the first raid boss.
I would say there's a lot of people in WoW, then, who don't raid, and are quite happy with just dailies, or LFD dungeons, or pvp.

Either way, they are losing out on not having some type of PvE End-game that players can compete with! I think they need to take the time and make it happen personally. Jump quests won't cut it for me, and PvP is fun but not that fun.

From what I seen and read once you done it all you go back to an old zone and scale it up make it harder. Kinda like diablo 3 and explore the map then do dung ions and explor modes and the lvl 80 dramatic events. And world vs world pvp there is no end game the journey is ment to be the game don't even knoW why there a lvl cap when. When scale up any way no gear grinds once you are done go back do it again or stop playing at lest you didnt pay a sub fee
