I fail to see how this matters. If your that ashamed of your vote that you would be horrified if it went public, then you shouldn't be voting at all.

Maybe YOU fail to see how it matters. I work in a county office and it matters to ME that my boss can look up to see if I voted for him/her and if I didn't, I could lose my job.
