they weren't calling and whining at you, they were calling and whining at your girlfriend. quite honestly you came off as a douche and you should have just been a normal person and kept your mouth shut since your gf talking to her friends is none of your business. i have a hard time believing that if your friends were calling you all the time and your girlfriend got rude about it, you wouldn't have found it funny. im sure you would have been pissed that she thinks she can tell you to back off from your friends.
