Replacement for Raeli's Spell Announcer?

I was wondering if anyone can suggest an addon that is simillar to Raeli's Spell Announcer? Preferably one where the author has not quit and regular updates will happen to fix bugs ect.

I've currently rigged up some announces via WeakAuras, but its not the same.

That one announces what everyone does. RSA only announces what you do.

It's not the same, it's better. Thanks for the idea! (I wished RSA worked, but oh well, I only announced a few abilities anyway)

I looked into this a little bit. There isn't that much breaking it.

So far all that I have found is that:
1- "GetNumRaidMembers()" and "GetNumPartyMembers()" was removed as a function and has been replaced by "GetNumGroupMembers"
2- You need to remove "Mass Summon" and "Cauldrons"

I am not a very good programmer, BUT I might be able to get the same effect of "GetNumRaidMembers()" by using both "IsInRaid()" and "IsInParty()" coupled with "GetNumGroupMembers()"

If i get around to it, i will add the LUA code to this forum post

What exactly are you looking to "monitor" OP?

You can set weakauras to announce to a channel/raid when an event occurs.

My favorite is flump, although I don't know if he's continuing for mop.

I used RSA to announce in raid/party battle rezzes, tranquility, innervate, ect.

Looks like RSA is getting alpha updates now, so I wouldn't switch addons yet if you're happy with it.
