Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered.

Hello everyone, everytime I open wow, it freezes and goes black, when it goes back to normal it says "display driver has stopped responding and has recovered." Yesterday it was doing this so I updated my drivers and it was all good. Today when I went to play wow it started again.

Hoping someone knows a solution, thanks for your time.

Is your card overclocked? It does that often when it's voltage is too low.

If it's an Nvidia issue each set of drivers could be hit or miss to be honest.

It's called TDR. TDR stands for Timeout Detection & Recovery. It gives you the "The display stopped responding but has successfully recovered"
Some games are notorious for it like early versions of Battlefield 3, and sometimes it is just plain random. Best thing to do is test different video drivers because newer doesn't always mean better.
