I have absolutely no issues making gold. I can easily make several gold an hour just from Orr just from events, and dungeons I make anywhere from 25 silver to 1 gold each. I have absolutely no idea what your problem is.

My only suggestion to you is to not die as much during dungeons? I don't think I've ever wiped or graveyard rushed in any I've done, so that's probably your issue with coming out positive.
