I use one similiar to that for running, many do.

I wear them sometimes as well, for fun, and if you want to wear them, then wear them.
However the idea of starting a gang is ridiculous, what person with just a little bit of self respect would do something to stupid, and even going about in black as to say "look at me i'm cool"?

I wouldn't call them 'in', but wear it if you want. No one is going to think you're being fashionable by doing so but I doubt many people would care one way or the other. The picture you linked doesn't exactly look strange with one on, so go ahead and wear it.

I'm not really laughing at anyone wearing them though. Im just saying i don't like them. if the guy wants to wear them then he should. no one is going to call him out for it. I'm sure i wear things too that make people think LOL
